The plan

The air in the house is vibrating with a frequency that is almost audible now. In the guest room, the frantic energy of the conquest begins to settle into a heavy, sweat-soaked afterglow. You drift above the bed, watching Mike as he pulls away from Alexis, his chest heaving, his eyes clearing as the initial rush of the betrayal begins to subside.

You feel a flicker of panic in Mike’s mind. He looks at his wedding ring, then at the door. You immediately reach out, not with a blow, but with a soothing, velvet shroud. You drown his guilt in the memory of Alexis’s mouth and the vision of the three girls by the pool. You make the act feel inevitable, a natural law of the house.

Alexis sits up, her hair a wild halo, her skin flushed. She sees the hesitation in Mike's eyes and leans in, her voice a conspiratorial whisper. "Don't even think about being sorry, Mike. This was just the appetizer. If it makes you feel better, we can include Lisa next time."

She runs a hand over his chest, her eyes locking onto his. "I was serious about Cherie. She’s a masterpiece gathering dust. She needs a trainer, Mike. Someone to help her with her... flexibility. If you can get close to her during her yoga sessions, she won't be able to resist you for long."

Mike shakes his head, a dry laugh escaping him. "Chad would never allow it. He’s territorial, Alexis. He’d see a guy like me near his wife and shut the whole thing down."

Alexis smirks, sliding off the bed with a predator’s grace. "Leave Chad to me. I know how to handle my brother-in-law. You just need to be his 'buddy' first. I'll tell him you invited him to play golf this Saturday morning. Get him out of the house, earn his 'bro' points. By the time he’s back, you’ll be the only person he trusts to look after his family’s health."

I don't know about that, but I'm always up for a round of golf. I'll even let him win.
