The plan to sneak in

Samora lead the team silently towards the town, avoiding any rapi they spotted. It went quite well. They aproached the north side of the town, where it bordered a massive cliff.

They went this way because the path was agreed to by the team when they landed, as the cliff seemed to be the best place to hold the rapi off. The cliff protected their backs against possiblr rapi attack from behind, and gave Nerra a good position to cover the rest of the team from above. The top of the cliff was believed to be clear of any rapi, which made it an ideal positon to give covering fire should things go wrong.

Another advantage was that the mountain had multiple caves. No only did they provide a way of getting around with less danger of being caught by the rapi, they could easily set up camp in them and defend it. Luna also belived she could set up an temporary medical station in there, hoping her test serum would be able to slow any potential rapi infections long enough to complete the mission. She was particullarly hopeful and excited about this mission. For years, her theory that a cure to the infection could exist had been ignored and laughed at, but now the documents appeared to indicate that she was right all along. Not only would her pride and reputation rise, she could incorporate the cure to her kit, making mission much safer.

The one on charge of setting up camp would be Tamara, with her multiple tools, while Samora scouted and Monique defended them. They would hold out and kill as many rapi as they could until the other teams arrived. Monique had also brought along two turrets for Tamara to set up.

While there wer some close misses, the team made it undetected to the base of the mountain. Now, they had to undertake the most dangerous part of the mission, to gor around the mountain until they reached the area they had chosen to set their base in after reviewing a map of the area.
