The plan begins

Huffing and puffing, Jessica strode up to her room, taking off her Vans and peeling off her soaked socks. She really liked this outfit, but now it was soaked and ruined!

She pulled off her T-shirt next, then her jeans. Her underwear was next to go, and Jessica was once again naked. While this was better than those soggy wet clothes, she knew she couldn't go like this school (well, not again at least). So, she resolved to put on something else dry.

First, however, her skin was too moist and she needed to towel off before checking out her wardrobe. Running late enough for school as it was, she briskly ran from her room, across the hallway, into her bathroom to dry herself off.

While she was patting herself dry, however, she heard a big commotion from elsewhere in the house. She didn't have any ready access to clothing, and would have to walk all the way back to her room to get some, but she also was scared what would happen if she didn't confront the noise right away and see where it was coming from.
