The passion of cooking

I introduced Alec to Lenny, and then felt bad that I had. Lenny was leering at him with a plainly lecherous gaze. As I started training Alec, he proved that he really truly cared about cooking. The two of us took over a ticket, and for the most part all I had to do was tell him where things are, and any special things we do. He had a few slipups, but was doing very well. "You do a lot of cooking?"

He looked at me and smiled, "Yeah, I love to cook!" I nodded my head, but it seemed like Alec was hoping for praise or something. We were an hour into work, and I wasn't going to start feeding any ego he might have. I sent him to go check on Lenny's stuff, and do a quick bout of dishwashing.
