Carol didn't get a chance to finish that thought, Caroline reaching under the kitchen counter. Grabbing what looked to be a pendulum, the mother made a shush motion with her fingers. Getting a nod from Carol she made her way over to May.
"May dear, I've recently gotten into hypnosis. Would you mind if I tried to hypnotize you?" Caroline cooed, waiting a moment for her daughter's focus to shift to her.
"Uh... I guess?" May answered and took a seat in a chair. Watching her mother walk in front of her, she watched the pendulum go back and forth. Eyelids growing heavy, sleep took her in.
