The one under the base

Lana: Blast it all! Deactivate the one under the base!

Luminara: No, do not do this Lana!

Drek: Bomb deactivated, Trench's code really worked, we should head down to them and free them. The door could be blasted now, it won't detonate the bomb.

Kota (**** crushing the door in fury): Aaaah! Stupid girl!

You three arrive to the cell that was holding them, but its empty, with its door crushed to a scrap. Luminara and the others walk to you from an other corridor, having recovered their weapons and equipment by the time you got there.

Lana: Masters, I...!

Kota (not wasting time to talk, punches you with full ****): You stupid girl, do you have the slightest of idea what you have just done?!

Lana (petrified on the floor): But I...

Kota (igniting his lightsaber and holding it to your throat): I have given you a clear order! Save the city! I should have you court marshaled right here, right now, for such clear defiance!

Luminara and his men restrain him, from doing anything else.

Luminara: That is enough Master Kota! Your emotions are getting the better of you!

Kota: Of course they do, I have had hundreds of good men in that city! They are good soldiers who deserve better than to be vaporized like that! We have come to terms with our fate down here, but they are not even given the chance to know what is coming for them!

Luminara: I said, enough! She did not mean to harm them!

The ground shakes, giving you clear insight, that the other bomb has just detonated.

Kota (turning around and walking away): I refuse to elaborate any further... I have to right the mess this schutta has just caused... After me, men, let's see what we can do to help the people in the capital. Get me my ship, ASAP!

He leaves with his soldiers closely behind him.

Lana (as Luminara kneels next to you): Master Luminara...

Luminara: I understand why you made this choice, but you too must understand what you have just done... You might have saved our lives, but we are not going to be grateful for this choice. You have killed uncountable innocents, men, women, children... Their deaths will cast a shadow onto your and our lives forever. This is going to be a burden you can never get rid of. I know you wanted to do the right thing, but it was not that. You still have much to learn and maybe, this will serve as an other harsh lesson for you on the path.

Lana (after she helps you get back onto your feet): I just couldn't let you all die...! Those lot who perished, they were mostly just scums and similar underworld figures...! The galaxy won't even notice their loss...! While you and Master Kota could do way more good in the long run, to make the galaxy a better place...!

Luminara: Maybe, but this is not for you to decide. You are only one Jedi, Lana, you do not get to decide whose life is more important or worth more. As such, you should always reflect on the numbers at hand, not who is at risk of falling. Come, let's get back to the base, before returning to Coruscant and making our report to the council.

You all head to the shuttle bay to find a transport out of the base. The corridors are empty, it seems the droids have already evacuated the place. In the hangar, there are a few shuttles left, you get into one and Drek pilots it out of the building. As you are passing above the capital's centre, you spot the crater of the bomb. The blast has spreading a few kilometers in all directions. All that's left of the city centre and the people living in it is a gigantic, empty crater. All has been vaporized on the atomic level, not leaving a trace of anything caught in the radius.

Ranvi (shocked): Such... destruction...

Luminara: This is why we must bring this war to an end as soon as we can... To stop such carnage from happening in the future.

Lana (as you look at the crater): This is all my fault... I killed them all...!

Ranvi (placing her hand onto your shoulder): Lana... You were in an impossible situation...!

Lana: There must have been an other way to save them...! Maybe we didn't look hard enough...! If only there had been more time...!

Drek: There were no alternatives Lana... It was them or the Luminara, Kota and his men... Now that Trench has fled, his base is empty and most of his droids were caught in the blast radious, the battle on Atzerri will be included within weeks. This is the goal Kota and his men had been fighting for for some time now. You helped them achieve it. Although, with quite higher civilian **** rates than expected...

Lana: This is Bantha poo! Yes, we might have won, but at what cost?

Ranvi: All battles require sacrifices, as they cause casualties for both sides, no matter the good intent of the generals. This time, the casualties may have been higher, but Master Kota will certainly save countless lives in his next battles! Think about those you have saved, without you even knowing they were saved!

Lana (going to the back of the shuttle, out of the cockpit): I need to be alone right now...

Ranvi (watching you leave the room): Lana...

Luminara: She will cope with it. We all have to make difficult decisions from time to time, when no matter what we chose, we lose a part of ourselves.

Drek: She's tough, she will pull through it... She just hasn't decided about a **** toll this high so far.

When you get to the base, you see mourning soldiers left and right. They all grief the passing of so many men, but are going to honour them by finishing what they started here. Agent G appears in front of you, as he has something important to share with you.

Agent G: Master Luminara, Lana, Ranvi, Drek. Nice to see you in one piece! May I have a word with you four? In private?

Lana: Sure.

Luminara: How do you know my name? Who are you?

Agent G: My apologies, I'm from the Republic Intelligence agency, it is my job to know who people are. Forgive me, I often forget that this is only one sided.

Luminara: Hmm...

You head to a secluded area before he gives Drek a small data storage device.

Drek (taking the device): What's on that device?

Agent G: What I'm going to tell you must remain between us. At least for now. While you were away, I found a very strange encrypted transmission sent to Trench's capital ship, from Coruscant. It was sent some weeks ago, using top level separatist encryption.

Luminara: From Coruscant? To Thench?

Lana: What was transmitted? Who sent it?!

Agent G: I don't know who was the one sending it, but it came from the Republic Military Headquarters, where only the generals of the grand army can enter. I tried pulling some strings and had someone looking at the sent transmissions, but it was thoroughly deleted in Corucant, we didn't find a trace. The message contained General Kota's base locations, detailed maps and strategies about his plans and proposed advances on enemy lines. Whoever sent this was clearly sabotaging his battle here!

Drek: How did you find this message if they erased all traces of it?

Agent G: Our relay station picked it up, alongside thousands of other messages, but it wasn't considered important at the time, due to coming from our side of the war. I dug it up recently and as soon as the decryption finished, I knew we had a traitor in our top ranks.

Ranvi: We can't keep this between us, a full scaled investigation must be done to find the culprit!

Lana: No, we must keep it a secret. If we announce we have a general ranked member in our ranks, who betrays our cause, the level of trust in our army will collapse and demoralize many, causing way more problems than this single message. Maybe our suspect will repeat this or make a mistake and we can catch him.

Luminara: I concur with Lana this time.

Agent G: My thoughts exactly. Stay sharp, I'll keep you updated should I find anything else! At the meantime, Drek, I ask you to keep that data somewhere safe, where nobody from the Republic may access it! Just in case...

Drek: Sure thing, the Jedi temple is impregnable both physically and cyberneticly!

Agent G: Excellent. Be well, all of you! We will see each others again!

Ranvi (as he leaves): I'll go and visit the medbay before we return to Coruscant... I do hope they can get Trench's "seeds" out of me, before they do any harm...

Drek: I'll come with you!

Ranvi (embarrassed): Eh, no, sorry, I prefear to do this one alone now! But I appreciate the gesture!

Luminara: Drek, there are sometimes things a woman must do alone. This is one such case. I'll talk to Master Kota, try to smooth things with him after what has happened.

Drek (scratching his head): Okay, then, I'll be at the... ship and... doing... stuff...!

Lana: I'll meditate on what has happened today... See you later guys.

Some time later Ranvi returns to the ship, frustrated, while you three are already on board.

Drek: What's wrong? Did they manage to do "that"?

Ranvi: No! They run all sorts of tests, but concluded that no current technology may extract his sperm from my body now...! Fools, and they call themselves doctors...! They advised giving carrying these seeds, until they are big enough eggs that they too could remove physically! What nonsense! I do love nature, but this is too much even for me, I'll carry the eggs of no other species! But I have a backup plan. If technology can't help me prevent this unwanted "burden", I'll ask Mother Talzin to help me, I'm sure she'll have a spell for that!

Drek: Oh boy, one more place I don't seem to be allowed to follow you...

Luminara: Nightsister magic? I do not like that idea Ranvi! I know they are family to you, but their usage of the **** is just... Unnatural...!

Ranvi: Maybe, for a conventional Jedi, but I'm no conventional Jedi!

Luminara: I can not tell you what to do, but I still advise against going there. Maybe the doctors on Coruscant could do more for you!

Ranvi: I wouldn't like to go through these tests any more, they were rather embarrassing... This whole thing is embarrassing...!

Luminara: I understand.

Lana: Do you need me to be there with you?

Ranvi: No, I'll be fine, just drop me off there, I'll take one of their spare ships to get back to Coruscant when we are done!

Upon dropping Ranvi off on Dathomir, she immediately seeks out Mother Talzin to help her with her problem. You leave right after she sets her foot on the surface and head straight to Coruscant. At her fortress, she meets the young Merrin and Morgan Elsbeth, playing with a doll on the floor.

Ranvi (kneeling to them): Hello Merrin, Morgan! How are you?

Merrin: Hello Ranvi! I haven't seen you in a long time!

Morgan (enthusiastically): Hi Ranvi! I have just learnt a new spell from the elders, can I show you? Also, I'm getting quite skillful with the bow, we should compete sometime!

Ranvi: Sure Morgan, I'll meet Mother Talzin and I'll see what you can do! I'm tingling with anticipation! Oh, is that a new doll Merrin?

Merrin: Yes, my mother has given it to me last week! It is my new favourite!

Ranvi: I settle my business, then we should play a little when I'm done!

Merrin and Morgan (joyfully): Yeey, we're looking forward to it!

Ranvi (later, at Talzin's room): Mother!

Talzin (hugging her): Ranvi, my child, you have finally arrived! I have foreseen your arrival!

Ranvi: Mother, I have a serious problem...

Talzin: Speak no more. I know what has happened, I keep an eye on my most prominent sisters. Come, we have already prepared everything, the ritual could begin as soon as you are ready!

Ranvi: Thank you mother!

Talzin: To tell the truth, I was expecting you to be first seeded by that human boy, rather than a Harch! Or even by a Nightbrother, as dictated by our traditions!

Ranvi (embarrassed): Mother, let's not talk about such things, please!

Talzin: As you wish, but do know, that when the time comes, you too will have to bear the burden of becoming a mother! According to our prophecy, your daughter will be the most powerful of our kind at her time!

Ranvi (bored): Yes, yes, the prophecy...

Ranvi is laid onto a table, with 6 elderly Nightsister witches surrounding her. They all chant magic words as some green **** energy fills her body, causing it to levitate and paralyzing her entirely. The energy lifts her robe, revealing her bare bottom, then rushes into her body, through her pussy to cleanse it from the inside of all things, unwanted by her. Shortly, the ritual is complete, the energy exits her body the way in entered, slowly putting her body back onto the table.

Ranvi (looking at her belly after sitting up): Wow, that was... Bizarre...

Talzin: My child, our magic is art, you will learn to perform such techniques in the future too. But for now... You did promise Merrin and Morgan to play with them, didn't you?

Ranvi: Y-yes, thank you for cleansing me of that...! Thing...! I'll look for them right away!

Elderly Nightsister (after Ranvi leaves the room): Great Mother, why did you not tell her about your new visions? The visions about our destruction? Why keep up the deception of all our sisters, save the elders?

Talzin: They are not ready to face the concent of such powerful visions. They cannot change the course of the galaxy on their own in time. Let them enjoy their time, while they still have some. I prefer them having it joyfully, rather than fearfully, if the outcome is inevitable. But I do see hope for some of them yet... I will go and meet the Mountain Clan tomorrow, even if their peaceful ways prevent them from helping us fight our battles, they could help those left behind by carnage.

Not knowing about the impending doom of the Nightsisters, Ranvi and Merrin joyfully play together, before she joins Morgan for an archery contest.

Meanwhile on your ship back to Coruscant, while you are meditating in your quarters:

Valare: Well well, that was an eventful mission! You were chased by a bounty hunter, participated in an orgy of sorts, killed off hundreds of thousands of people... You would shame many Sith by these achievements!

Lana: Your comments aren't required right now...

Valare: Which disturbed you the most? The orgy? I don't think so! The deaths? Well, people die all the time, especially in a galactic war! Maybe that bounty hunter slipping away from you? At least you weren't killed!

Lana (opening your eyes and stopping the meditation): Shut up!

Valare: By the way, there had been numerous bounty hunters sent after you so far... Have you counted? Not so many Jedi gets to be sent so many bounty hunters after and lives to tell the tale! Be proud girl!

Lana: That's one compliment I could do without, thanks...!

Valare: At least you haven't gotten to be sent the Genoharadan after.

Lana: That's just a myth, nobody has ever found any proof of them!

Valare: Oh your naivety always surprises me! My little friend, you are so wrong, it's hurting me. Of course they are real, they just haven't left anybody alive to tell the tale about them!

Lana: Than how do you know?

Valare: Trust me, I know what I'm saying!

Lana (suspiciously): Sure... Wait, how is it that we are talking to each other now?! I was only thinking when I was talking to you earlier!

Valare: Oh, so you noticed? Maybe some of my power has returned to my spirit while travelling with you. My lightsaber is in good hands, I have known it for some time! It is possible that when you use the ****, while having it around causes some **** energy to return to my spirit. But that wouldn't be enough on its own... Probably the strong dark side **** energy of Dathomir allowed me to take shape once more. Even if temporary as it may be...

Lana (closing your eyes to continue your meditation): Just because you are a ghost with an appearance, won't change the fact you are only a long dead Sith lady...

She smirks and moves to give you a slap on your ass. You are unbalanced of your meditating form and fall forward, with your face hitting the floor.

Valare (laughing): Haha, I was looong waiting for this to be done! You had that coming for some time now!

Lana (angrily): You little...!

Valare (disappearing): Remember girl, don't die on me anytime soon! Now that I have real hope of returning once more after a few millennia, I truly need you to stay alive to make that happen!

Lana: Who said I was going to resurrect you, huh?!

Luminara (entering your room): Lana, are you alright? I heard some blunt noise and you were talking, is there a problem?

Lana (lying): N-no, I was just... Having a hard time processing this mission's outcomes and how to tell the council about them...

Luminara: Yes, I understand the feeling... We will be arriving to the temple within an hour, we should put together a report by then.

Back at the council meeting the masters were shocked to learn about the loss of so many innocent lives. They understand why you decided to save the lives of two masters, but no matter how important they may be, a few lives can't outweigh so many others. They all agreed that you still have much to learn, even though you had good intentions, you didn't follow the Jedi teachings as you should have.
