Despite the cordial atmosphere and the additional arousal caused by the slutty story the three officers left the canteen earlier than Sarah on her own usually did. Or maybe instead of the word “despite” “because” should be used. The Lieutenants did not go to their quarters, but all three of them headed to the Captain’s place, they intended to make the atmosphere even more cordial there. This would be the first installment of Sarah’s favor for the Arons.
