The office of the future

Joan looked Linda up and down and this made Linda feel uncomfortable, water was still running down her face and she felt that she would never be dry every again.

Joan took Linda's hand and said "time to meet the troops" Linda could hear the glee in the small fat woman's voice as she was being dragged through to the main office.

Linda's first impression was that her office had changed drastically in the last 5 years, in the past they had individual cubical where they would work and a small cafeteria where they could eat but it was now open plan with glass walls, there was no-where to hide. Joan introduced Linda to some of her work colleagues, and everyone looked directly at her transparent blouse, Linda was struggling for words and felt humiliation building in her.

Joan spoke for the full time barely breaking for breath "The new owners have changed everything, we now all work in one room, so there is no where to hide from work, all the walls are now made of glass so you'll never get lost and the air conditioning is always set at low, apparently it makes you work harder"

Joan finally brought Linda to her work station, it was a simple desk and computer however there was no chair, before Linda could ask Joan pulled out a large blue rubber ball from below the desk, she said with a smile "Its the latest thing from the new owner, you sit on one of the balls and it helps you focus on work, it also works your core so that you have better tone" with that she patted her own stomach and Linda watched the ripples of Joan's belly, there was something hypnotic in the jiggling fat.

Linda thanked Joan and asked, "is there a toilet where I can freshen up and dry my clothes" Joan's smile broadened and she replied "yes the door is at the back of the room, its very modern, you'll love it"

Linda put her bag now and walked in the direction of the restroom, water was still dripping from her sodden hair and she could hear her stockinged feet squelch in every step, she reached the restroom and opened the door.

Linda waked to a dryer and began to take her blouse off, she heard a masculine coff behind her and turned to see a man washing his hands in a sink, Linda suddenly realised that the toilets were now mixed, she quickly went to an empty cubical, there was no way for her to strip and dry her clothes, she would be stuck like this all day!
