The next morning

The next morning, you wake up, shower and get dressed following your standard morning routine before heading out to explore magnolia a little bit more. However, as you are about to reach the door, you catch a glimpse of the mirror.

You look at yourself up and down and can barely recognise yourself. Your brown, leather boots are torn with loads of holes in them which is the same condition as every other item of clothing you have on.

You also stare directly into the face of your reflection. Your blonde hair is overgrown and shaggy with knots everywhere and your beard has also grown too. It now nearly stretches down to your collar bone and it’s no cleaner than your hair. Your crystal blue eyes now look lifeless. The only way you can still recognise yourself is the long scar following your jawline on the left hand side from your first lesson with your foolish master.

“I need to go shopping...” you say to yourself and you do exactly that.
