The next day...

"I don't see why you're so interested in swimming all of a sudden." Ryuko says. You're sitting in the lounge, reading magazines with Ryuko and the depressed Weiss.

"You've always been super shy about showing your body off around me. It's completely unlike you."

"I'm feeling more confident now." You respond. "Besides, it will be good for Weiss. Help take her mind off the incident."

"I don't WANT to forget about Cammy!" Weiss burst out. Her face looked furious, and tears were welling in her eyes. Oops. You just wanted to get her in the pool somehow. You weren't expecting that drastic of a reaction.

"Er... You're right Weiss. You shouldn't forget about Cammy, and we shouldn't either. I... I just meant that we should take some time to relax. We've been so stressed out lately, we have to take a break at some point, right?"

"Fine, whatever..." Weiss grumbled, and folded her arms and looked away. "I'll go."

"G-good." You exclaim nervously. "Then it's decided."

The three of you enter the pool, wearing swimsuits. You'd received one after your fourth shoot, where you were required to perform in a faux hot spring. It was white and red two-piece bikini. The other two must have gotten their in a similar situation. Ryuko's was a solid yellow bikini, while Weiss's was, like everything else about her, an entirely white one-piece.

You draw your friends over to you with the impression that you're going to toss a ball around. After all, there were still cameras.

"Alright." You say. "Whatever I say, do not act surprised or abnormally in any way. Weiss, keep looking angry at me, and Ryuko, keep on looking like that apathetic, sly girl that you are."

"Huh?" Both of them reply in unison.

"Just trust me on this."

You tell them about the contents of the book. You were expecting the worst, but surprisingly, Weiss takes it pretty well. You throw the ball around between the three of you while you talk.

"We should go immediately." Weiss says.

"What? No!" Says Ryuko. "We need to be prepared! We need a plan! We can't just go waltzing into the performance rooms! We'll be punished!"

"If there's still a chance we can rescue Cammy, we're doing it! We're going down there, and we're taking over this factory! I'll find out where they're holding Cammy, and what they did with her! I'll change her back myself if I have to!"

"You've never been one to be stupid, Weiss! If we don't bide our time, Alex will find out and then you'll be made into a blue or something! Or worse, a Yellow!"

"Oh, I'm STUPID am I? Is that what you think, Ryuko? Huh?"

"No... I didn't mean..."

"What would the dumb brute who sits and watches TV all day know? What's your show about again? Oh yeah, swinging some stupid sword around and flaunting your ass to everyone watching! Sounds like a real smart character to me!"

"You know that isn't how it works! And besides, I don't think she's STUPID..."

"Oh, that isn't how it works, but you feel the need to defend yourself anyways, huh? Sounds to me like someone doth protest too much!"

"Now, you see here-"

"We're going, and that's FINAL!"

"No." You say firmly. "No, we're not. Weiss, you're letting your emotions control you. You know full well we need to wait."

Weiss looked like she was about to punch you. If looks could kill, you'd be floating dead in the water right now.

"Fine." Weiss spoke with a fearsome calmness. "I should have figured you'd take HER side. You wouldn't care about my feelings, about my love... Have it your way, May."

And with those words, she left the pool and left to the locker rooms, despite your requests for her to return.

The next morning, you discovered that the book was missing. An hour later, you found out that Weiss had disappeared, and that your room had been broken into in the middle of the night. Weiss had gone into the unlit dungeon.

She never returned.
