The next day

"Whew! I can't believe I got out of that one!" proclaimed Nate to himself as he stepped off the bus and began walking to the entrance of the school. The previous days incident replaying in his head. His counselor, his psychology teacher, walking to the front of the school, being bound to the flagpole with his arms tied behind his back. It was certainly a tight spot to be in, by far the riskiest he had ever found himself in, even with his powers. But it was alright now, everything had worked out in the end. The crisis had been averted.

Still, he couldn't help thinking about it all throughout his first period class. He was so thoroughly enveloped in his daydream, but was suddenly snapped out of it when he heard the teacher stop talking and answer the phone. She pointed at him and said he was being called to the front office.

"Bring your things. I don't know if you'll be coming back," she said.

He did as he was told and made his way to the front office, where felt a sense of deja vu as he entered the waiting room. He told he secretary that he had an appointment and she waved him through to his destination... his counselors office? He wondered if this had anything to do with what happened yesterday. He entered the room and Ms. Cole told him to sit down.

"Why am I here?" he asked.
