The mission is going bad!

Logan closed his eyes and resisted the temptation to let his hands wander up Max's bare smooth thighs. Swallowing a groan he tried to ignore the fact that she was straddling his lap wearing little more than a tiny thong and a bra one size too small.

"Max," He half groaned and finally looked down at her.

"What is it?" she responded, barely whispering. Her breathe warm against him, those pouty lips, those dark soulful eyes.

It took every inch of will power Logan had left but he finally managed to say it. "We need to leave,"

Max's brow furrowed in confusion and for a split second Logan thought he saw a look of disappointment in her eyes, as if she was enjoying sitting half naked on his lap, as if she had expected a different response from him.

Leaning in close, she shuddered feeling his stubble scratch against her skin before whispering to him. "What about the mission?"

"It doesn't matter anymore, One of my informants sent me a tip less than an hour ago. One of Richards's rivals is tired of being second in line and is planning a major raid of this club tonight. They're gonna take him out, and do who knows what else. I don't know when, but any second now this place will be crawling with heavily armed goons aiming to take Richards out. So we need to leave-"

As if on cue the sound of gunfire erupted from just outside, A short burst, warning shots, followed by the screams of panicked customers and employees. Max twisted around, staring at the door for a moment before turning back to Logan.

"Stay right here," she whispered before standing up and slowly making her way to the door. Cracking it open barely an inch to peek outside. She only looked for a moment, not wanting to give away her position before turning to look at Logan. She remained silent, the look on her face telling him all he needed to hear, they were in trouble.
