The mission begins

Asher, Aria and Mitasa arrived at the Hokage's office together. Each of them fully stocked with ninja tools and of course Mitasa's sword. They stepped inside and saw Zazu and the Hokage speaking with a man wearing a black vest with red streaks and green knee-length shorts. There was a large straw hat hanging from his neck. He had a satchel at his side containing a bundle of rolled up sheets of paper. It was obvious that this was the client, Taza Honaru. He turned to the trio and scowled.

"These are the ones meant to protect me," he said in a condescending tone, "They're kids. I doubt they could fight their way out of a paper bag."

"Mind what you say Taza," said the Hokage.

"Why? What will happen?"

"The ninja in the centre does not like to be mocked," Taza scoffed at this, "Should you annoy him enough, he will throw you through something. Like a wall or tree."

Taza was about to laugh, when he saw the serious look on the Hokage's face. Taza turned to the Chuunins and saw a smirk on Asher's face. He huffed and turned back to the Hokage.

"What makes him so special?" he grumbled

"He is incredibly strong" he says and throws a metal ball to Asher, "Asher, if you will, demonstrate your power."

Asher closed his hand over the ball. The sound of metal being crushed, eminated from his fist. Upon opening his hand, Taza saw that the metal ball was crushed completely. He picked it up and studied it. He tried to bend it and even attempted it with his teeth, but without success. Taza put the crumpled metal on the desk and looked at the Hokage in absolute shock.

"That metal is very strong. It is used by the Ozie clan in their clothing. They have the unique ability to turn any metal into a lightweight string."

"How is he able to crush it? How is he that strong? How can I become that strong?"

"You have to let Orochimaru experiment on you," Asher says angrily.

Taza looked at him apologetically and said, "I'm sorry."

Asher just growled in response. He crossed his arms and continued to glare at him.

"It's not wise to cross him, my friend, hmhm ," said the Hokage with a laugh.

Zazu then addressed the three of them, "Now, onto business. It will take us about a month to complete the mission. Two weeks to and two weeks from the village. We will be crossing through different lands and if we are caught, we will probably be seen as spies. There have also been reports of bandits operating around the border of the land of Earth. Mitasa, you will be in lead. Your ability will be a great asset."

"What ability?" asks Taza.

Aria spoke up and said, "He can emit a pulse from his mind that allows him to see what's around him. Some members of his clan are born with the ability, but it also means they'll be blind aswell."

"Aria," Zazu continued, "you and I will stand at Taza's side with Asher covering the rear. Is that understood."

They nodded. The Hokage smiled and stood.

"I wish you luck. I doubt you'll need it as long as Asher's with you, but anything can happen."

Asher cocked his eyebrow at him and have him a mock smile. Zazu stepped forward and walked Taza out of the room.

"Goodbye Lord Hokage," they bowed and left.

As they got to the north gate, Asher saw Naruto waiting. The moment he spotted him, Naruto ran towards him.

"Asher, Asher!" he yelled, but as he got closer, Naruto tripped over his own foot and tumbled into Asher. He lifted himself up and had a broad smile on his face.

"What do you want, idiot?" Asher asked sternly.

"I wanted to say goodbye before you left," he said his smile widening.

"And?"

"No and just wanted to see you off."

"Okay goodbye."

With that, Asher left the still smiling Naruto. They all left the village. He turned back to the gates and saw Naruto waving like a madman. Asher shook his head and sighed.

"What an idiot," he thought.
