"Done." Nagato replied almost immediately. "We can certainly guarantee that and will do so to the best of our abilities."

"Very well. Secondly, and this truly is the most important condition. I need you to, whenever the time comes, no matter what, and no matter who the enemy might be...protect my little brother, Sasuke." Itachi's eyes softened up, something that the other two picked up on, glancing at each other.

"He must be very important to you then, isn't he?" Konan asked softly.

"Knowing how they are, I doubt it would go as smoothly." Konan sighed as well.

"Still, it would be worth a try, the more you two can get on to fight with you, the better the outcome will be." Itachi shrugged.

The trio would then conversate for the next few minutes about setting up the second meeting and to exchange any information that they had about Madara with each other, trying to ensure that they knew as much as possible.
