The maze

Once the shapes become recognizable, the onlookers realize they are looking at the inside of the maze. Though they are looking at an empty passage. Kirie makes a different passage appear, again empty.

While Kirie is searching the maze, Eve gets a cramp in her stomach. Soon after she gets another one and she feels something rumbling inside. Like she’s about the puke. She starts breathing heavily and irregularly to try and keep it down.

“Eve? Are you alright?” Sasha asks, noticing Eve’s strange behavior.

“I … no, I’m not.” Eve admits. “It’s my stomach.”

Then Eve starts to feel something rise from her stomach. She falls on her knees, opens her mouth and spits out a bunch of slugs. Everybody steps away from her in disgust as they see what Eve is puking up. Eve manages to take a breath, but then another couple of slugs exit her throat.

“Ugh, vermin.” Kirie says and waves with her hand.

A hole opens in the floor in front of Eve where the slugs have landed. Eve pukes out another couple of slugs and watches them fall into the hole.

“Serves her right.” Gabriella says.

Sasha looks at the Latina and says, “Dude? What’s wrong with you?”

“She left me to get **** by that burrower.” Gabriella spits at her.

“Excuse me, but it was you who had the bright idea to go give it a hug.” Fire says, defending both herself and Eve.

“And then you both abandoned me, and your sister, and the others.” Gabriella says.

Eve then spits out the last slug after which Kirie closes the hole.

“Thanks.” Eve tells Kirie. “Alice also had a few slugs inside her. Even more than me.”

“Looks like it.” Kirie replies, “I’ve found her.”

Eve looks into the white orb and sees Alice lying somewhere in the maze. She is surrounded by slugs. Her belly is already distended with newly birthed slugs that crawled back inside the same womb they came from. Other slugs are crawling over her legs, her breasts and her face. Eve could even see a slug crawl into Alice’s open mouth. Who knows how many more got inside her that way already.

Then Eve sees a tentacle come down and wrap itself around Alice. It pulls her up and she disappears from the view.

“I’m bringing her here.” Kirie says. “We’re a long way up, though, so it’ll take some time.”

Kirie continues searching the maze, searching for the others. She searches nearly every passage, but the maze seems to be empty.

“Please don’t say they already made it to the other end.” Kirie suddenly says.

The view in the viewing orb changes to a birds eye perspective of a large room. In the room is a towerling that has the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a spider which is being mounted by a freakish looking scorpion.

“Oh no.” Kirie laments. “Clarissa.”

Upon further inspection, Eve does indeed recognize the upper body to be that of Clarissa.

“Oh my god.” Eve says in shock. “What happened to her?”

“That scorpion is a sinful one.” Kirie explains. “They are the most powerful creatures inside the tower. Even more powerful than the Matriarchs. Most of them are locked up because they are a threat to the Matriarch’s power and security. This is what happens when a human break inside their cages.”

The view changes towards another mating couple in the room. This time eve recognizes one of the individuals as Lizette, who somehow got her hair turned pink, while the other is another towerling with the lower body of a spider and Samantha’s upper body.

“I am sorry, Eve. Even I can’t save them anymore.” Kire apologizes.

“Wait, what about Lizette.” Sasha asks. “Can’t we get her out of there?”

“Leave her.” Fire says. “She betrayed us. As far as I care she deserves to stay there.”

The view changes again, this time focusing on a small black box.

“Interesting.” Kirie whispers.

A hole appears on the ground next to the box and a tentacle comes out to grab it. Then the box disappears into the hole and it closes up again.
