The main event

The cruise ship has now sailed out in the waters quite a bit and you can barely see the lights on the land in the distance. The buffet table is currently being cleared by the wait staff although there are still open bars, and you and Margot are wandering around the huge deck of the ship, not really mingling with anyone. There doesn't appear to be a host or emcee for the evening and you're wondering when the main event gets underway. It's been quite some time and you're starting to think maybe you should go check out the rest of the cruise ship. There must be dozens, even hundreds of private rooms and cabins on this ship.

Meanwhile, Margot seems pleased just to be out of the mansion and around other people, especially not being recognized. She stays by your side, hanging onto your arm as you both watch the people around you. You notice that while initially everyone was bunched together in 1 big group, the attendees have dispersed and people are slowly but surely breaking away into smaller groups, mostly in groups of 4 or 6, although are plenty of odd numbered groups as well.

You realize that the main event is already underway and you look around, hoping to find another couple or people to form your own group with.
