"Why are you in my home?"The lion's golden eyes flicked back to me, piercing and intense. He took a step forward, and I could feel the heat radiating off his body. "This is our new territory," he said, his voice low and commanding. "We needed a place to call our own, and this seemed... hospitalitable."I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest. "But... but this is my home. I live here."The lion King tilted his head to the side, his expression almost thoughtful.

"And yet, there are more lions living here than humans. Like I said earlier this place seems like more of lion's den then a human's house, aren't you curious about the changes we've made?"I hesitated, my gaze flicking over the shattered glass and overturned furniture. "Not really," I admitted. "I like my home the way it was."The lion chuckled again, a sound that echoed through the room like distant thunder. "Well, perhaps we can come to an arrangement. I am, after all, a reasonable creature."I eyed him warily, wondering what kind of arrangement he could possibly mean.

"What do you have in mind?"He took another step forward, his massive body blocking out the light from the hallway. "Tell you what," he said, his voice a low rumble. "You let us stay, and in return, you become a part of our family."I laughed, a nervous sound that echoed in the otherwise quiet room. "And how am I supposed to do that? Adopt you all as my pets?"The lion chuckled, shaking his head. "Hardly. I meant that you join us. Become one of us."I stared at him, taken aback. "Become one of you? You mean...like, turn into a lion?" I couldn't help but laugh, a nervous, disbelieving sound that filled the room. The Lion King didn't join me, his golden eyes remaining steady on mine."Not just any lion," he growled, his tail swishing behind him. "A member of my pride. My child, My son."The weight of his words settled heavily in the air, and I struggled to wrap my mind around the absurdity of it all. "I'm not your son," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I'm a human. I can't just...turn into a lion."The Lion King took another step forward, his massive body towering over me. "Ah, but you can," he said, his voice a low rumble. "Of course you would need help from...
