The journey is half the fun

"Tara, I need you to bring the DSD team investigating the school to Lilapharmatech. We have the emitters for Washington prepared and ready to go on. No rush, you merely need to get them here by noon. I will be beginning my ascension. When you see me next, I will be immortal."

"Of course Jonathon. I will have them here on time."

You exit the building. The city surpringly unchanged. You felt something momentous happen, but it looks like a normal Saturday.

"Just coffee, black."

She hurries to get you your coffee. You can't help but be aroused. There are more than a million people in this city, every one at your beck and call. Such wicked possibilities.

You head out to the school wondering if the DSD team will be as eager to please as Ellen.
