The helicopter ride

Storm wheels you into the helicopter. It's nice to be outside, to feel the fresh air on your skin as you exit the hospital.

It's on the roof.

"You ever fly in a helicopter before?"

You shake your head.

"Never. They're really expensive and seem like a waste of time."

You realize how much of a buzzkill you sound like. To your surprise, Storm laughs.

"It's such a ripoff right?"

You smile. As you reach the helicopter stairs, she helps you in. You manage to stand and walk into the seats. They're not really impressive. Just boring seats. You were hoping for some kind of mattress at least.

"Thanks, Storm."

"It's nothing."

The two of you sit quietly.

"Do you mind if I play some music?" Storm says.

"Only if it's good." you say.

Storm looks at you, and then plugs in her phone. She plays Tame Impala and The Smiths.

"You like The Smiths?"

"Yeah. Except for Morrisey."

You nod, understanding.

"I think they capture this idea of a useless sadness. Like you're depressed but the only redeeming factor is the aesthetic."

"Yeah." you say, unsure of what to add.

"I love sad sacks. Depressed guys who smoke cigarettes and never express joy. Who just mindlessly go on with their life."

"What about guys who cry out of frustration?"

Storm looks at you oddly. Maybe you shouldn't have said that.

"Yeah, I guess."

Both of you listen to the depressing music.

"Like a guy who cries out of frustration because his struggles are useless?" Storm says.

You nod.

"I'd fuck him." She says. smiling slowly.

Her excitement is infectious. You put your arm around her, and speak softly.

"Even if you were just supposed to give him a handjob?"

She nods, as your faces move closer, you kiss. Her hands hold the back of your head and back as you unbutton her uniform. You start grabbing both of her tits.

She stops kissing, and puts her hand on your chest.
