The group stops to camp

“There! That looks like a well-used camping spot. I think we should stay the night over there.” Yadra pointed a small grove just within sight of the road. Several trees had been felled and carved into crude benches around a fire pit.

“I remember stopping there last time we were along this road. It’s the only good camping spot we’ll run into for the next few days.” Jenna said, already leading the horse off the road.

“Okay, fine by me.” Alea said. Soon after she was setting up camp with Jenna.

Yadra could be heard gathering firewood in the distance while Alea and Yadra set up the tent and got the cooking pans and food out.

“I can’t believe you brought so much stuff.” Alea complained.

“I can’t believe you brought so little stuff! Clothes and hard-tack? You really thought we were going to march the entire way on foot?” Jenna giggled.

“We’re not all rich girls like you, with your carts and horses and whatnot.”

As they worked, Jenna got closer and closer to Alea, until they were practically against each other.

Jenna was reaching high to pull the top bit of canvas over the tent when she dropped a pole.

“Oh, can you grab that for me, Alea? I can’t let go.” Jenna pointed at the pole on the ground in front of her with one hand. As Alea bent over to pick up the stick, Jenna moved closer until her rock-hard cock in her pants was pressed up against the crack of Alea’s ass.

“Hey Alea! I got some firewood. You want to do your magic thingy?” Yadra yelled.

“Oh, sure thing!” Alea said, feeling relief at an excuse to creep away from Jenna's hard-on.

Alea ignored Jenna’s advances and walked over to Yadra’s pile of tinder.

Alea repeated the mnemonic for flame conjuring in her head before suddenly and explosively slamming her palm into the tinder. A gust of flame burst out from her arm, lighting the fire. Alea and Yadra quickly tended to the fire with the pile of bigger sticks Yadra had already collected, and soon all three of them were warming their hands over the open flames.

Yadra whistled. “Whew-wee, that sure is a useful trick. I wish I could light fires with just my fingers.”

Alea looked the stronger futa up and down. “You’ve probably got enough resolve to do the job, it’s just none of the futas you fucked were cultivators, so the resolve you’ve obtained is a jumbled mess. Fine for strengthening the body, but not so good for the mystic arts.”

“So if I wanted to use fire magic like you just did?” Yadra asked curiously.

“Then you’d want to spend years meditating on the nature of fire like I did to grow fire resolve inside yourself.”

“Or fuck you and take your fire resolve.” Yadra said.

Alea blushed. “Yes, that’s also an option. Though there are specific techniques that cultivators use to improve on the process and make it so stolen resolve doesn’t interact unfavorably. Some techniques can even be used on non-cultivators like you two. I bet that’s what the disciple who visited our village used. She was using you guys to power herself up.”

“Oh yes, I remember her. I was sore for a week afterwards, and I lost my six-pack. Didn’t get it back until I started fucking the baker.” Yadra complained. “Still… that was a good dick.”

“You lost some musculature because she drained your resolve. That’s fairly common. In general, those with more resolve appear stronger and more alpha-like, both in physique and personality.”

"Alright, enough magic cultivator stuff. Who wants to sleep where? The wagon is nice and soft from all the furs, but the tent is out of the wind." Yadra asked. “I tend to snore a bit, fair warning. You two might want to sleep somewhere I’m not."
