The green leader smiled and nodded slowly.

Mackenzie had been clutching at straws but, evidently the leader had already decided that she didn't enjoy sharing her authority with Emma.

This was all the excuse she needed to correct the balance of power.

"That's right" said the leader, addressing her gang.

She pointed an accusing finger at Emma.

"This woman isn't one of us and had no right to involve herself in the dog's punishment"

She turned to Emma and held out her hand.

"Okay, hand them over"

"Hand what over?" replied Emma, her smug demeanor replaced by a look of confusion and apprehension.

"Your clothes."

"What?!"

"The bitch is right. You're a bad person too and it wouldn't be right to treat you any differently from this other criminal"

"Don't be ridiculous! I'm not giving you anything!"

"I won't ask again"

Emma began to back away, glancing behind her to the edge of the clearing.

"Well this has been fun but I think l'll be going now"

"She's trying to escape justice! Get her boys!"

Emma turned and bolted, sprinting at top speed away from the traitorous Greens.

She wasn't fast enough.

One of the young men stepped in front of her, blocking her escape route.

Emma halted and frantically whipped her head around, looking for a gap in the circle of greens that were quickly closing in on her.

"Fine if you won't surrender and hand over your clothes willingly, we'll just have to take them ourselves"

As two of her cronies held Emma in place, the leader went to work.
