So why did Mediter leave? She had won.

The goddesses intervened

Chapter 105 by frogogre1

The goddesses were blind; they couldn't see what was happening in Themyscira. Their own barrier that hid it was now, for reasons unknown to them, blinding them to what was happening on the island. They had no clue of what was happening besides the fact that sea monsters had entered and left the hidden island. The goddess naturally did not like this.

Athena advocated for war, and she should lead the armies she had to Themyscira. Aphrodite preached that love would be the answer and that she should go herself and simply charm any threats with her beauty. Demeter has promised to bring to bear the nature found on the island against any threats. Artemis vowed to lead a grand hunt and put an arrow in every threat. Hestia said she could use the power of sisterhood to bring a woman of skill from around the world to help save Themyscira.

They argued and bickered over who's plan was right and which ones would lead to more harm. Eventually, though, after arguing themselves in circles, they saw there was only one true action to be done. They did not know what was truly happening, and so they had sent a champion to see for them. So only one choice could be made. Wonder Woman was called forth, and she answered the call.

She was already nearby rescuing the men left in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea with the rest of the Justice League. When she heard the call, she answered at once. She arrived at her home by jet jumping out and landing in water not occupied by sea monsters for the moment. She made it through the barrier and onto the beach. She went through the jungle of her home and looked upon Themyscira and yelled. "By Hera." She said in shock at what she was seeing.

The walls of her people were under threat of an unending army of sea monsters. She watched her people barely holding and in need of aid; she wanted to charge into the fray and help her sisters, but she knew that she could not. They didn't need another sword arm; they needed her to stop whatever foul magic was fueling this attack. So with a heavy heart she left to end the threat at its source. She made her way quickly back to her hovering jet and made an important call.

On the other end, Zartanna was reading through a black book that was made from human flesh. While several demons burned on holy flames. "The pain stops when you tell me what I want." She stated to the demons, screaming in agony, not putting much attention on them as she tried to learn words that could help her task but were never meant to be spoken by mortal human lips.

She didn't care; of course, all that mattered was the return of her master. If every tabboo had to be broken, then so be it. She was interrupted by her phone ringing; she quickly looked at the caller ID and saw it was Diana. This angered her, as she didn't want to stop to talk, but she had to. If she didn't keep in regular communication with the others, they might think something was wrong and investigate. Which could lead to them trying to stop her, which she couldn't allow.

So she quickly used magic to add gags to the bound demons and then intensified the holy flames. "Hi Diana, how are you?" Zartanna asked, trying to be nice despite the look on her face, saying each second of delay would equal another year of torture for Diana at a later point. Diana quickly gave her a rundown of the situation. Zartanna was enraged to be interrupted so she could act as Diana's GPS.

She didn't let it show, though, and quickly spoke the words. "Ecruos Eth Dnif." She said, quickly getting the coordinates to a certain tunic circle. Now with her question answered, Diana thanked Zartanna profusely and then ended the call. "Thank you, master." Zartanna said with a sigh, and we went back to her research and torture, completely unaware of who she sent Wonder Woman after.

So it was that in her fancy quinn jet that she was closing in on an unready Condiment Wizard. Though if she could make it past the sea monsters guarding the underwater entrance, then his brand new trophy harem that worshiped him and was more than ready to kill and die for him. Though despite the odds, it was a true danger that Condiment Wizard will have to face a Demigod, and his odds of winning that fight are not good
