Summary of the last hour of games: Carla and maria each took early leads which cause them to single each other out for the shots. They are both quickly drunk. Nearing the end of this game, Carla and Maria start giggled profusely over which one of them was supposed to go next, Sarah insisted that it was Maria, Jake just smiled.
Sarah was tipsy but not completely drunk. Jake knows the proof of all the booze, He'd made it a point to drink the lesser of the **** in order to make sure nothing happened to Carla and Maria, someone needs to be responsible for them. Also, allowing women to fall down stairs wasn't ideal, so he'd been doing his best to be the least intoxicated.
Sorry! Might have kept everyone busy for a while longer, except the lights finally went out with a final flicker and loud buzz. Jake looked around, rather disappointed, wondering if it was just a brownout or if the power to the house had gone off completely.
He got up to test a few things around the place. As new and modern as the house looked, it was actually rather old. It had just been heavily renovated before Jake moved in. The electric wiring around the place was still pretty old though, and he knew from other storms that it was entirely possible the rest of the house still had power while the lights didn't work. And he was right, a few pokes at appliances in the kitchen confirmed the fridge was still running.
"Wow, you have a magical fridge!" Carla said, clapping with a surprised intoxicated laugh.
"No, just really bad electrical wires..." Jake Quiped.
[The game was over, candles and booze didn't seem like a great idea.]
[The game could go on, with flashlights... If he had batteries.]
