The gate of Bree

Aragorn and Einis made their way toward the gate, the main entrance to Bree. There were many more people up and about at this time of night than was usual, as Aragorn saw many hobbits and men trying to catch a glance of what was happening from their front doors. As they got closer, Aragorn saw the gate keeper on the floor in a puddle of his own blood. "What happened here?!" Aragorn ordered checking to see if the man still had a pulse. The pulse was faint, and Aragorn had to be quick if the man had any chance of surviving. "Einis, those rags you carry in your bag, I need them." Aragorn said as Einis placed the rags in his hand as he made bandages and wrapped up the man's wounds. As the blood stopped seeping from the man's wounds, Aragorn was able to better see the wounds the man suffered. Their was a cut on his chest and one on his back, both were deep. The riders must have cut him down as he opened the door and cut him again as they rode past. The hoof prints of four horses led deeper into town, and he had an idea where they led to.

"The gate keeper was cut down where he stood master." An old woman finally answered his question about what had happened.

"Did any of you see how these attackers were." Aragorn asked the crowd.

"They were men with dark hair, that's all I know. They weren't people that I recognized, and I know almost everyone in town." A puffed up self important man said.

"Thanks." Aragorn said. "This man is out of immediate danger, but he still needs immediate medical care, I've done what I could, but professionals can help him most now." Aragorn said directing their attention back to the injured man.

"I can take him back to our room, I picked some athelas coming here, I can care for him." Einis whispered to him.

"Sir, my sister is the village head doctor, I can deliver this man to her, he will be in safe hands." A young woman said pushing her way to the front of the crowd.

What does Aragorn want?

A) Let Einis care for the man (Einis won't be able to help Aragorn until he returns to his room)

B) Let the girl take him to the head doctor (Not guaranteed survival, Aragorn won't be able to question him until the next day)

C) Let Einis care for the man, but have the girl call and bring the head doctor to help her (moonblack's suggestion)

"What are your plans?" Einis asked him.

A) Follow the horsemen's tracks (by pass the house)

B) Stop at the house (risk losing the tracks)

C) Leave a suggestion
