The five affected Sharon's took home pregnancy tests and discovered they would each soon be giving birth to twin "Baby Sharon's"...

"How is that possible?" Sharon 7 asked once they had the results of their tests. "None of us has had sex with a man since we all got together, and that's several months ago now."

"Parthenogenesis?" Sharon 2 suggested. "That would explain why all ten embryos are girls. It's only supposed to be possible in very primitive animals, though, so I guess we're breaking new ground."

"Presumably such a pregnancy should still be the same length as a normal one, though," one of the unaffected Sharons said. "I don't want to worry you, but in the couple of hours it's taken to get the testing kits and carry out the tests, you five have already gone from having stomachs flat as boards to showing noticeably. Something very funny is going on."

"Jim!" all sixteen Sharons said as one. The Sharons had hardly seen him since they had all begun living together (in fact they had hardly seen any outsiders at all), but now it seemed time to pay him a visit.

They rang for four taxis to take them to his house, and soon all sixteen busty naked (except for high heels) Sharons were walking up to his front door. Five of them were now easily distinguishable from the other eleven, being noticeably pregnant.
