The first week is mostly uneventful

The first few days were, well, a nice change. Isaac enjoyed getting to more candidly chat with his peers, all while enjoying a candy bar or two during the day. He usually just had one. Abby and Elaine would booth have three or four, Jasmine would have one each break, thanking Isaac for getting them, while Sasha maybe had one during the whole week, as a treat at the encouragement of the other gals.

On Wednesday, the new 'mineral water' arrived. It looked like water, it didn't have a smell, and according to the gals, it tasted pretty alright for mineral water.

"I'm telling you, we have to get different cups. These cups are way too all, can't stand these verti cups." Sasha said, "Seeing the water is half the fun of drinking it!"

"You're crazy, no one else even says stuff like that." Elaine responded, furrowing her brow. "You can't be serious."

"You don't even check the pH of your tap water? Or the mineral content?" Sasha replied, finishing her cup and getting another.

"No, I drink bottled water." Elaine replied.

"I get Dasani." Jasmine chimed in, happy to join in the conversation. Sasha grumbled angrily at the mention of Dasani.

"I just think it taste pretty alright; and you're sure the boss never says 'Champ!' in person? I swear they do." Abby mentioned to Isaac as they sat at another table, watching the argument unfold.

"Yea, I've never heard them say it, but it's all over the emails, and they end every. sentence. with an exclamation point. It's crazy." Isaac replied, watching Sasha become unreasonably irate about the existence of verti cups in general.

By Friday, all of them were happily drinking from the water cooler, even outside of break times. But, Isaac swore, like actually swore that Abby's previously semi-loose clothing was now tight? And, Elaine, he had seen her wear this one skirt dozens of times and it sat differently on her now, like the pattern had shifted on it, stretched sideways. Then there was Jasmine, which as much as he hated to admit, even to himself, he was familiar with how the shape of her bust looked, and he swore he could see little bulges indicative that her breasts were just getting slightly too big for her bra.

But, maybe he was just seeing things, next week should show that he's obviously seeing things.

Right?
