The end of the hall

You continue down the long hall way, with the only sound now being your foot steps. You reach the end of the hall, find an open room. Inside is lies a couple of skeletons, lining the walls with rusty armors, and weapons. The sight of the dead, twistes your stomach, you avoid the sight of them by moving your face forward. Finding a sight of wall with a door way block by slab of stone, with button like panels on each side of the door.

Curious, you move forward examining what lays in front of you. Looking it up, and down, you find what seems to be a couple of letter sketch into the top of the door. "In order to continue your path to the ring, an answer to a riddle is what you need. A correct one will grant you what wish, with bonus for your wrist. However, a wrong one will make you cripple painfully until the end." Is what you read from the sketch, looking a little lower, is what you guess to be the riddle. "What is something that is long, brown, and helps with getting high."

You look down at the door, seeing the two panels. Carefully, you wipe the dust off them, trying to set them off. Once clean, the two panels reveal two different pictures, one of a snake, and another of a rope. You take a step back, and begin to think-
