What is left for Alex?

The end of the beginning

Chapter 11 by CluelessScholar

Alex yelped as the synthesised voice loudly shrieked before powering down. what he was most concerned with, however was that line about ‘Priority Customer’. The thought of this happening again somewhere down the line filled him with dread. A sensation that would only escalate as the hands 'gently' directed him towards the exit, whilst the sliding entrance doors began to open. With an uncharacteristic yelp, he dashed through the exit as quickly as his heeled feet would allow him, before making a mental not to hold down his skirt as he galloped away from his mechanical tormentor.

After making a pointed effort to avoid the other smartly dressed patrons exiting their own Bunkers, he finally made it out back before allowing himself to catch his breath (a task that had become significantly more difficult with the corset now in play). Alex wracked his brains for solutions. He couldn't change because he had nothing to change into, and that damn machines had eaten his phone and wallet when it took his pants.

"Alex!", a dreadfully familiar voice called out, the boy(?) in question turned around to see his best friend Sarah, absolutely dressed to the nines like she had promised. She was wearing a sleeveless form-fitting red gown that seemed to directly complement his own.
