The dungeon

After roughly half an hour of walk, you arrived in front of an old steel door. You open it with difficulty, the hinges rusted with time until finally it opens enough to let you and Eleanor in. Luckily, it seems that you arrived in a deserted corridor and no one seemed to have noticed the noise of the door opening yet.

If Michael's information are correct, you are now inside Solvene's dungeon. You both silently creep forwards, careful not to make any noises that might draw attention to you.

All the doors in the corridor are closed and look to be in the same state as the one you came through. Rusty and probably not opened in a long time. You don't try to open them but keep going forward until you see the corridor turning left. You press yourself against the wall and chance a look. The corridor continues for a few meters before opening in what seems to be a larger room with lights coming out of it.

You make your way cautiously towards the room and take position on each side of the opening. You both look inside and you feel a chill in your back. On both sides of the room are cells, all filled with naked people in them, tied up in different devices. Most of them are gagged and blindfolded so you only hear muffled moans from them.

Even if you expected something like this, the view still shake you to the core. Is this where you would have end up if you weren't rescued by Eleanor and Jason? Is this where you'll end up if you fail. Looking towards Eleanor, you see that she is in the same state as you, her eyes wide and shaking slightly. You make your way towards her and wraps her in a hug.

"Hey, it's ok. We'll get them out. But you need to focus alright?" You whisper in her ear. She nods and take a shaky breath before answering.

"We need to find a way to open those cells. If you take a look at the locks, they are magnetic locks. Which means you either need the key for each cell. But, those systems are mainly used to open and close doors remotely, which means..."

"That there is a probably a way to open all of them at once from somewhere. Probably a control room." You finish for her.

"Exactly. If we find it, then we can get them all out by the secret passage we took to arrive. Let's split up and find the control room."

You nod and pat her on the back. "Be safe out there"

"Thanks you too."

And you both split up to find the control room.
