The duchess

"Hello?" you answer.

"Why would you release that video!?!?" a female voice screams at you, and it takes a while for you to register the voice. It's Kate Middleton.

"I didn't. How did you get this number?"

"I know people who can do get anyone's number in the world. But thanks to you, I've just got kicked out of the royal family!!" Kate continues screaming. She goes on to utter a bunch of expletives, some that you've never even heard of, and you let her go on and on about how miserable you've made her life. The video had just been released, but apparently TMZ had contacted the royal family for comment earlier and they had prompted removed Kate after reviewing the footage. They had tried blocking TMZ from publishing it, but there was no way the tabloid show would have given in. It was their biggest scoop to date.

So now, Kate was holed up in a hotel room in downtown London, while the media swamped the lobby, hoping to get a glimpse of her. She had nothing left except for a suitcase of clothes. At the end of her long rant, Kate starts to cry and you sort of feel sorry for her, even though you're adamant that you're not responsible for the video.

After listening to her sob for a while, you ask, "Is there anything I can do to make this better?"

"... I need a place to stay and hide."

That's when you realize why she was really calling. She had nobody else to turn to and you're the one person in the world who can help her.

"Okay?"

"Can you come get me? With your powers?" Kate asks.

"Sure. Send me a picture of your hotel room." You hang up and wait. It's about 5 minutes before Kate sends the picture and you wonder if she's still struggling with begging you for help, so you take your time, continuing to watch TV and have some toast. About 15 minutes later, Kate texts you. "Are you coming?"

Another 10 minutes. "Are you coming?"

2 minutes later, you see the unknown number calling again. You let it go to voicemail, then play it once it's done.

It's Kate, of course. "Hey, it's Kate. Please, come get me. I need to get out of here. Please, I need your help."

Chuckling, you take one more look at the picture of the room she's in and activate your teleportation ring, instantly appearing in the hotel. Kate is sitting on the bed in a simple embroidered white dress, staring at her phone. It's not even a nice suite, but one of those economy rooms.

"Christ! Why are you naked?!?" Kate exclaims as she stands up. You can see her make up is recently applied, after her crying episode, and she looks perfect, perhaps even more beautiful than you remember from the beach.

You shrug. "Because I can."

"Alright, let's go." Kate grabs the suitcase that's already packed by her bed and but you shake your head. "What?" she asks.
