Chapter 5
by JakobSams
Which door does Jennifer open?
The door labeled “Challenge of Chocolate”
Jennifer immediately zeroed in on this door as soon as she saw the word “Chocolate”. She was a practical chocoholic. And even though she had quit her chocolate binging habits years ago, they somehow revamped when she saw the plaque. She quickly chopped through the door and quickly ran into the room, the scent of rich chocolate already tantalizing her.
The room inside was a fever dream for Jennifer: the entire room was split by a giant river of flowing, molten chocolate. It swirled and surged along, causing Jennifer to nearly pass out. She tore her eyes from the wondrous sight and focused on the note by the river bank.
It read:
The only true way to cross this river is to drain it. You must drink it all. You will be provided the necessary tools to do so.
Jennifer squealed a bit at this. She had ****! She had to drink all of the chocolate. She soon found the tools the note spoke of: some kind of harness affixed to the wall, most likely to prevent her from falling in, as well as a large ladle and straw. Jennifer wasted no time in strapping herself into the harness. She then took the straw, knelt down at the river bank, dipped one end of the straw into the chocolate, and began to slurp the rich chocolate into her mouth. Jennifer’s eyes fluttered at the heavenly taste.
What effect does the chocolate have on Jennifer?
