The doctor’s

Alice waited for the doctor as she sat in the waiting room. She was in for her regular checkup but she was trying a new doctor to be her primary care doctor.

Alice had just stopped seeing her pediatrician doctor and needed one in a regular practice. She was referred by her stepmom to this doctor and she didn’t really know anyone better.

Alice filled out the paperwork as it asked a lot of personal details but Alice wrote them down or at least what she remembered. She then handed it back to the receptionist and waited.

Finally the door opened. “Alice Hemingway? Come this way,” a male nurse said.

Alice looked and followed walking behind him.
