The die lands on yellow.

The four sided die finally stops on the table revealing a yellow point.

“YES!” Morgana cheers out. Some relief washes over the group. Only Morgana was the other player that has landed on yellow, and her affect was very minor in comparison to the other colors.

“Yay, good job Morgana.” Cammy rejoiced.

“Yeah, you didn’t fuck it up twice in a row.” Nora gibed.

“Thank you, ah thank you.” Morgana bows to the group.

“Hey, don’t get ahead of yourself. We still haven’t seen the effect.”

“Oh right!”

Morgana reaches over and picks up a yellow card.

“All players have lovely hair,

Part of their natural flair.

Time to enhance all their smiles,

Rock your heads with new styles.”

“New hair styles?”

“Sweet, this saves me a hair appointment.” Hana jokes.

“Oh hell yes! I wanna see Nora in something different for once” Morgana stated.

“There’s nothing wrong with the way I do my hair.”

“I didn’t say there was something wrong, but ever since I’ve known you, it’s been exactly the same.”

“I quite like the way Nora does her hair.”

“Thank you Cammy.”

“I think Morgana is trying to say that, you might look good doing something different Nora.” Juliette backs up Morgana.

“See! Juliette agrees.” Morgana points to Juliette who smiles at the thought.

“It’s simple, not high maintenance. Just the way I like it.”

Morgana groans loudly.

“If we shave all of our hair right now, and then let the card affect us, will our hair grow back?” Stephanie asks this question way out of left field and draws everyone’s gaze to her.

“What did you just say?”

“Cause that card affects our hair styles, but what if we don’t have hair to begin with? HMMMMMMMMMMM?” Stephanie clarifies.

“Sooooooo, YOU… can do that. I’m just gonna go along and let the card do its own thing. ‘I Continue’.”

Morgana utters out the key words, but the card doesn’t fade. She waits for the change, but nothing happens. She flips the card around to the riddle side and sees six boxes, one for each game piece. Morgana’s sword game piece box was the only one with a check mark.

“Oohhhhhh. We all have to continue for the game to proceed.” Morgana realizes, resolving everyone’s confusion.

“Oh, ‘I Continue’.”

“Oh, let me grab some scissors first!” Stephanie gets up and is about to dash out of the room before Nora grabs her arm.

“Sit down and continue.”

“Fine. ‘I Continue’.”

Morgana sees the last box gets checked off and the color finally fades. A sudden gale rips through the room from an unknown source. Everyone is startled by it. The curtains by the windows flap chaotically. Napkins sitting next to some uneaten cookies fly throughout the room. Everyone closed their eyes to protect it from the strong gust. The gale is so quick that no one feels or notices their hairs waving about and changing at the same time. As suddenly as it starts, the gale stops. The girls all slowly open their eyes.

“WOOOOW! That was crazy.” Morgana speaks first.

“Is everyone okay?” Juliette inquires.

“What the heck was that?” Nora looks around for the source and see’s if anything’s damaged. Eventually she looks at Cammy, who is smiling and trying to hold back some giggles.

“What’s so funny?” Cammy slowly points to the top of Nora’s head.

She reaches up and realizes that her hairstyle has changed.

“WHAT THE HELL!”

Everyone looks up at Nora and sees the change.

“PFFFT. HAHAHAHAHA!” Morgana bursts out laughing at seeing Nora’s spiky hair.

Nora has a blush break out on her face and she starts to pout.

“Aw, Nora. It’s not that bad.” Juliette tries to comfort her. All the girls look around to see what everyone’s hair has changed into.

“You look like a rocker girl!” Hana yells.

Nora’s previous short hair that just barely reached her shoulders, now juts out into various directions. Her hair has now joined together into various spikey clumps. However, it seemed that the amount of hair that she had before hadn't changed.

After everyone saw that Nora’s hair had changed, they were all realizing that theirs most likely also changed. Everyone went to their phones or mirrors around the house to see what they looked like now.

Cammy’s double hair buns are gone and in their place now have twin tails. Additionally to her new hair style, Cammy felt a new weight to her hair. She could feel it while sitting, but couldn’t really see why. She stood up and walked into the hallway to use the mirror there and saw that her hair had become more voluptuous and longer, now reaching down to her calves. She shook her head back and forth to see how it moved and flowed. She smiled, quite enjoying her new change.

However, Cammy wasn’t the only one that grew more hair.

Juliette previously had short hair with bangs, but she also felt an additional tug on her head. She didn’t have to look far to see what had changed about her hair. She moved her hair back and forth and felt that it now reached her lower back, right above her hips. She also saw that her previous straight hair now has a natural wavy-ness to it. She saw the ends of her hair twisted, turned, and curled in different directions.

But not everyone’s change had a hair growth to it.

Stephanie readjusted her glasses after almost flying off, she instinctively moved her hand to brush the hair back to the side of her head, but felt nothing. Her hand reached up until it found hair, much shorter than she remembered. She pulled up her phone and saw that she now had a bob cut. Her hand reached to the top and back of her head to feel no ponytail there. She moved her phone around, to see all sides and angles of it, still processing whether or not she liked it.

But another member of the group also lost her ponytail.

Morgana’s long ponytail also vanished after the windstorm. She felt a breeze along her neck now, which was unusual to her. She turned her head to grab some of her hair, but couldn’t find it. It wasn’t until she placed both hands and her head and did some frizzing that she realized how short it is now. She also walked into the hallway to use its mirror and saw that she now had a pixie cut. “Hehehe, I used to have one of these in middle school.” Morgana said to Cammy next to her.

“It’s very cute.” Cammy complimented. Her hand went up to give Morgana a head pat. She was surprised Cammy wanted to feel it, but didn’t stop her from doing so. It actually felt quite nice.

Finally, Hana’s previously long brown hair was still there but had a very unique style to it. She felt it stand rigid, but was also quite bouncy. She grabbed a strand of it and saw that it was curled and spiraled all the way down to the ends. She saw the hair drill style bounce around as she shook her head back and forth. “Oh man. This is gonna take forever to style and manage.”

After all the girls looked at their new hair styles, they reconvened at the board game.

“Well, that was fun.”

“Shut it.”

“Hey, I think the spiky style is actually pretty good for you. You got that angry sexy rocker girl vibe working now.”

Nora doesn’t immediately refute it, and instead pouts and grabs the die to start her turn.
