The decision gets made for you

Seeing that Ms. Naylor seems to be finished, you quietly step down off the footstool. Picking it up you're trying to decide whether to return to your cottage or see if anything else happens when you hear the creak of a door opening and soft voices whispering. You see a small group of figures come out of the side door of the building and make their way in your general direction, taking care to walk on the grass instead of the lit path.

This looks promising, you think. Obviously these are people bent on some mission that they think requires stealth, and that adds up to mischief in your mind. You smile as you see there are five of them, giggling softly as they whisper to each other.

"Are they coming for sure?" a voice asks.

"Jeremy promised. And he said he'd bring friends."

"You know how dumb those Hamilton boys can be. Did you tell him there were five of us?"

"Of course I did."

"Do you think they'll try and scare us like last time? That was so fun!"

"I hope so! I loved that!"

"You loved getting fucked you mean."

"And you didn't, I suppose?"

"I didn't say that," you hear the answer as the voices fade out of range of your hearing.

You put the footstool under some bushes before slipping out of the cover of the trees to follow them. You keep to the grass to cover any sound of your footfalls and far enough back so you can keep their shadowy figures in sight but still hear the sound of their whispering conversation.
