The dam breaking
The following two weeks felt like walking a razor’s edge.
My alarm went off every morning at five-thirty. Squats, push-ups, pull-ups on the bar that Loona had installed above my doorframe. After that came the steps—ten thousand a day, meticulously tracked via an app with login details she kept on her own phone. If I had only hit eight thousand by five in the afternoon, a single glance from her across the kitchen table was enough, and I would jog three more laps around the block, no matter how badly my legs were burning.
And hanging over everything was that damn, merciless ban.
Ten days. Ten days without being allowed to even casually brush against the fabric of my pants without the sheer dread of punishment twisting my stomach into knots. The overstimulation had reached a point where every touch hurt. The hem of my boxer briefs felt like sandpaper. In class, I would stare at the blackboard for minutes on end without processing a single word, my mind utterly clouded by that heavy, pulsing heat between my legs.
“The café is too loud,” Emma said on a rainy Thursday afternoon as we stood in front of the school gates after sixth period. She pulled up the collar of her beige coat; despite the damp air, her hair carried that cloying, sweet scent of roses that instantly sent the blood rushing to my temples. “Let’s go to my place. My parents are at the office until eight, so at least we’ll have some quiet.”
My heart skipped a beat. *Her house.*
“I… I don’t know, Emma,” I started, instinctively reaching for the phone in my jacket pocket. “We said two hours. If I head out to your place, I’ll lose time on the way back, and I have to—”
“Are you getting bitchy now, John?” she cut in with an amused smile, taking half a step closer and casually resting her hand on my upper arm. Her fingertips pressed gently through the fabric of my jacket. “You offered to help save my GPA. I can't wrap my head around calculus with an espresso machine hissing next to us and people constantly bumping into the table. It's ten minutes on the bus. Stop being such a baby.”
She turned on her heel without waiting for an answer, dead certain that I would follow. And that’s exactly what I did. Like a damn dog, I trailed after her, hands buried deep in my pockets to push the fabric away from my hard-on, all while my brain frantically calculated how many minutes I had left before Loona’s deadline.
Emma’s family home was a modern town villa in a quiet neighborhood. Light hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, the scent of expensive scented candles. No one around. Absolute silence.
“Take off your jacket, make yourself comfortable,” she said, tossing her bag carelessly onto the living room couch and slipping off her shoes. She was wearing tight leggings and an oversized knit sweater that slipped slightly off one shoulder with every move she made.
A tabby cat padded out from the hallway, weaving around my ankles with its tail straight up, purring softly.
“Hey, Cleo,” Emma murmured absently, bending down briefly to scratch the cat’s head before shooing it toward the scratching post by the sideboard with a click of her tongue.
I sat down at the heavy dining table, unpacking my folders and pens with clammy hands, placing my phone right next to the textbook in plain sight. The screen remained dark, but the mere presence of the device felt like a loaded gun.
“Let’s start with the optimization problems,” I said quickly, trying my best to sound professional.
Emma didn’t sit across from me. She pulled her chair right up next to mine, so close that her thigh brushed against mine. Thin fabric, the sheer heat of her body—and a jolt shot through my groin so violent it made my vision blur for a second. Over on the sideboard, Cleo leaped silently between the decorative ornaments, settled down, and locked onto us with lazy, amber eyes.
“Explain number four to me,” Emma murmured, leaning over the page and resting her chin in her hand. Her hair fell forward, brushing against the nape of my neck.
I tried to speak, but my voice cracked on the very first word. I cleared my throat, pointed the pen at a formula, and felt sweat trickling down my back. My entire world had shrunk down to two things: the clock on my phone screen, running down mercilessly against me, and this unbearable, throbbing pressure in my pants that made forming a single coherent thought completely impossible.
Emma was looking at me from the side. She wasn't looking at the paper. Her eyes slid slowly from my trembling fingers down to my lap, where the tent in the denim left no doubt about my state.
A slow, knowing smile crept onto her lips.
“You’re terribly nervous today, John,” she whispered, pressing her knee just a bit firmer against mine. “What are you so damn scared of, anyway?”
“I’m… not nervous,” I managed to choke out. My voice was pitched far too high, thin and brittle. I stared stubbornly at the columns of numbers in front of me, as if some pathetic curve sketching exercise could save my life. “We just need to finish this. Number four. You set the first derivative to zero and—”
“John.”
Her tone cut right through my words. Not loudly, but with that casual ruthlessness girls like Emma display when they know they hold all the cards.
She turned fully toward me on her chair, pulled up one leg, and set her foot on the edge of my seat. Her knee pressed shamelessly against my thigh. No thick denim between us—just the thin, smooth fabric of her leggings.
“Look at me,” she demanded softly.
I didn't want to. Every instinct screamed at me to grab my notes, run down the stairs, and jump on the first tram away from her, just to get back home to Loona on time. But my head refused to obey. Days of relentless pressure had turned my brain to mush. I looked up.
Emma sat there, her head tilted slightly, her eyes sharp and dark. The wide neckline of her knit sweater had slid aside, exposing the bare curve of her shoulder. The rose perfume wafting off her was so heavy it made me almost nauseous.
“You’re shaking all over,” she whispered, a crooked, almost mocking smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth. “Look at you. You’re soaked in sweat. And it sure isn't over a math problem.”
Her hand left the edge of the table. Slowly. Agonizingly slowly. Her fingertips glided across my forearm, tracing the lines of my tendons, before finally coming to rest on my thigh.
My breath caught entirely. An electric shock shot straight down my spine, white-hot and paralyzing.
“Emma, stop… please,” I gasped, but the word “please” didn't sound like a warning; it sounded like a pathetic plea. “I have to go. Really. If I’m late, then—”
“Then what?” She leaned forward, her face only inches from mine. Her warm breath brushed my cheek. “Does the big math star have to be home in time for mommy's dinner?”
Her fingers drifted further. An inch. Two inches. She stroked across the stiff, strained denim right into my groin, not fumbling or hesitating, but closing with effortless certainty around the thick, pulsing shape that had been straining against my clothes for days.
A strangled sound tore from my throat. My eyes rolled back for a second. The touch was so intense that my whole body went rigid. Ten days of denial, ten days of torture under Loona’s ban—and now this unfamiliar, soft hand gripping me tight.
“God, John,” Emma breathed, the mockery in her voice replaced by pure, almost incredulous fascination. Her fingers wrapped firmly around my cock through the fabric. She squeezed gently. “You’re rock hard. Do you do this to yourself on purpose?”
“Let go… I… I can’t…,” I stammered, but I didn't pull back an inch. I didn't even raise my hands to push her away. I sat there like a condemned man in the electric chair, utterly unable to move as the heat detonated in my pelvis.
Emma smiled. A triumphant, cruel little smile. She grabbed the collar of my T-shirt, dragged me in, and pressed her lips against mine.
The kiss was wet, demanding, tasting of coffee and mint. Her tongue pushed briefly against mine, demanding entrance—and right then, the fuses blew completely.
It didn't take sex. It didn't take stripping down.
The second her hand pumped up and down over my jeans in a single rhythmic stroke while her tongue slid into my mouth, the dam broke with the violence of an avalanche.
A hoarse groan was muffled against her lips. My hips bucked helplessly forward, my fingers clawed into the edge of the tabletop, and my body emptied itself with painful intensity straight into my underwear. A heavy surge of hot, thick fluid flooded into the tight fabric, pulsing in short, helpless spasms against my skin, while my mind drowned in pure shame and relief.
I came. Right in the middle of the living room. Fully clothed. Without warning.
Startled by my sudden violent jerk, Cleo leaped off the sideboard with a dull thud, streaking across the hardwood floor and rattling the small wooden figures on the shelf.
Emma jerked her head back. Her hand froze over my crotch, then she felt the sudden dampness, the heat seeping through the thick denim.
For a few seconds, the room was dead silent. Only my heavy, ragged panting cut through the stillness as I slumped in my chair, shoulders hunched, face drenched in sweat, staring blankly at the tabletop. I couldn't look her in the eye. I wanted nothing more than to drop dead, to sink right through the floorboards.
Slowly, Emma pulled her hand away. She inspected her fingers, then my face, and finally the damp, darkening patch spreading across my jeans.
She didn't get angry. She didn't scream.
Instead, a long, incredulous giggle slipped past her lips. It started quietly, grew louder, and ended in a condescending laugh that lashed against me like a whip.
“You’re… you’re not serious, are you?” she sputtered, shaking her head in utter disbelief. She wiped her fingertips off on a napkin from the table with total nonchalance. “One kiss? I touch you once and you cream your pants like a thirteen-year-old?”
Not a sound came out of me. The shame gripped my throat so hard that tears welled in my eyes. I just stared at my knees, feeling the wetness in my boxers slowly cool down, clinging clammy against my skin.
Right at that moment, my phone vibrated on the table.
A sharp, buzzing rattle against the wood.
The screen lit up. A text message.
*Loona: You have fifteen minutes left. If you aren't standing in the kitchen by 6:00 PM, I’m coming to get you.*
My stomach dropped through the floor. I was soaked. I reeked of Emma. I had humiliated myself beyond repair. And the clock was running out.
