Another meeting
The cult, one month in
November 29th
As usual, Francy opened the meeting "I'm happy to announce that the efforts to get more missionary sisters and training them under a psychology professor have succeeded. Said professor has since joined us, giving us easier access to convert professors. I have broken my own record of girls converted in a week with 11. In total, we have 10 new professors, 22 admin staff, and 42 new students, among them a new priest-sister and a new missionary, but also two rich daughters. We've more than doubled in size with 74 new sisters to 143 in total."
Dorothy chimed in "Sister Francy has asked me to crunch the numbers, and we have converted nearly 10% of all female admin staff, nearly 5% of all professors, and nearly 1% of the students. Considering that this is only our first month, I'd say that it's impressive."
Lily continued "Given the influx of new members, our portfolio has swelled to $2.28m, leading to expected dividends of $3800 per month. I have also been informed by His Clemency that he no longer has to pay for rent, food, or utilities starting next month, meaning that we will have quite a lot of money on our hands soon."
I decided to take charge of the meeting for now "Well done girls, all of you. Francy, I have a goal. By the end of the year, I want all female admin staff under my control. If possible, I'd also want the female faculty staff under my control, but that's secondary. Feel free to convert as many girls to capable missionaries as you want. The student body is huge, after all, and I don't intend to stop with this college."
Cathy responded to my demands "Supreme Master, several weeks ago, we had discussed the possibility of owning a location to hold our religious service in. Right now, we are 4 priests and can hold service for around 120 sisters, since we are restricted by the size of classrooms accessible for studying during the weekend. It is only because some sisters have to hide their beliefs that we are able to give everyone else the service they need. We either need to find a bigger room and fit that location with speakers, or we need to decentralize service somewhat if You want such rapid expansion. A separate location has the drawback of needing money, cleaning, some sound equipment and much more, but it would strengthen the bonds between sisters and our bond to You a lot. Decentralized service would see every sister either watch a livestream or recording of the service in their own time, which would place a heavy burden on sister Dorothy's platform and also cost money. The benefit would be that the sisters who have to stay away from service right now would be able to participate in service."
It was honestly a tough decision for me. There was a certain appeal to having a genuine church or temple dedicated to worshipping me but the costs would obviously be nothing to sneeze at. The alternative was forcing Dorothy and her sisters to create a private livestreaming or video upload platform to ensure as many believers as possible could participate.
This is where a stroke of genius hit me. I began looking through my phone and all the admin staff we had already converted. Luckily, the person in charge of assigning how the rooms of the college are to be used is a woman we've already converted. Our college had an indoor sports hall that also has a theater stage at one end, but it's only open for classes, not students due to the heating costs. As long as we don't heat it, we shouldn't be suspicious, since we have universal keys. She has promised to ensure the drama club also allowed in on some Saturdays will only be allowed entry at least an hour after service has ended. It's not quite a church yet, but it should give us some breathing room until we find an inconspicuous location. Using the sound equipment should also not be too attention grabbing, when some theater folks will act on the stage later on as well.
I told the girls about my plan, and they agreed to move forward with it. The meeting continued without much else to talk about and subsequently they all left to attend service. These times were always the most lonely, but it was also always cathartic to have this hour to myself. I took the time to check the school newsletter, but there was nothing of note. The main article was about the efforts of our college to respond to the council, and because of my rule change, the reports on breakups can't name any numbers, which should hopefully lessen their impact.
I had called in Roxanne after service. Firstly, I grabbed my book and turned her into a High Advisor. Her face was suddenly beset by a slight smile as I explained to her the basics of everything we'd done. I concluded with a detailed explanation of our current situation "We are hoping that the Ivy league professor will go public and cause a ruckus, and in the meantime we want to convert as much staff and faculty as possible in hopes of forcing a resignation of the dean followed by a hopefully female dean we will convert."
Roxanne paused to think "It's not a bad plan, Supreme Master, especially since a female dean in that position will be expected to give up fighting the quota. But You shouldn't forget the students' role in all of this. The power of the masses is convincing in its own way. While it's just an eventuality, you should make use of our FP connections to student clubs and student unions. Those groups including their male members can be mobilized pretty easily compared to the average student. It could be beneficial in the short- and medium-term to frame the rejected Ivy League professor not as an attack against a woman, but as a system of established and 'coincidentally' male faculty closing themselves off from any change. We need to portray them as arrogant bastards who can't handle someone outshining them, male or female. Framing is best done by reporters, so You'll need access to the campus newsletter reporters."
Roxanne gave me some info on the women leading clubs and student unions as well as the campus reporters and I sent them to my missionaries with the message that any of these girls would be worth 4 points each from now on. "Thank you for your insights and info. How are you feeling now, Roxanne?"
Roxanne had been lying on my bed for her comfort with a pillow beneath her ankles to minimize the stress put on them "I feel weirdly good. I'm doing basically the same thing as before, except for a different reason. And You really did help me get a better perspective on things. I'm a lot more confident in my plan B now." She paused for a second, before continuing "You know, there's something this cult has that I often missed in my days of earnest feminist organizing, and that is solidarity. When I mentioned that You wanted to speak with me in Your room, there were immediately three sisters willing to help me get here. It feels so great to be a part of a movement that truly believes in what it fights for. When one organizes, whether as a union, a feminist, or whatever else, one has to deal with the frustration of seeing those one fights for ignore the struggle. In unions, there are always scabs and workers who care more about getting their full wage rather than paying union dues. In feminist organizations one has to deal with pick-me-girls and many women who just don't care enough to protest. This grinds my gears more than anything. Not being appreciated by those I fight for makes me feel so lonely and the struggle feel so pointless. But in Your Luminescence's cult, everyone fervently believes in You. Nobody in the know hesitates at Your commands and everyone works towards one goal in earnest, so thank You for everything. I know my health makes it impossible for You to fuck me safely, but I hope my advice still makes me a worthwhile member of the cult."
"No need to worry, Roxanne, you're welcome here regardless, in fact I'm happy to have you here. I hope your body will finally heal soon and in the meantime I'm more than happy with your advice." With our conversation concluded, two girls picked Roxanne up and helped her walk home.
