The corruptors expand their horizons

It took them a moment to adjust to being outside their transformed lair. They walked cautiously at first, then more confidently as their senses adjusted to the feedback and allowed them to focus on their next targets.

There was a restaurant not far from Sapphire's apartment; they used their ability to blend into an environment to quickly pass by a group of unsuitable men and women awaiting entry.

Sliding unnoticed past the maitre'd, Sapphire led them to the back of the seating area, where a group of women were in the early stages of a celebratory dinner for one of the group who had earned a promotion.

The woman being feted was easy to pick out; she was uncomfortable being the center of attention and dressed in clothes chosen for comfort. The women seated around her seemingly were of like mind, thought Sapphire, given the way they dressed.

The phrase "like mind" caused a chuckle, as the women had no idea how like minded they would become.

Sapphire changed appearance so the group of women would perceive them as a friend from work and not be concerned why they were attending this dinner. Sapphire then gave a hug to the newly promoted woman.

Fuschsia and Violet observed Sapphire, then followed their leader, altering appearances to fit in. Soundlessly the three corrupters communicated to ensure all the women at the table were prepared for their corruption and elevation.
