Chapter 20 by SergeantPepper SergeantPepper

What's next?

The continuing adventures of paralyzed Azula

Apparently the paralysis didn't stop the blood rushing to her cheeks, because Azula was bright red by the time they made it to the town entrance. By then, Sokka had given up any pretence and was carrying her with one hand on her back, and the other on her ass, leaving her legs stuck out freely.

She still couldn't move anything more than her eyes. They darted from side to side, and she caught glimpse of movement, stray shapes, and heard the shocked gasps followed by tittering laughter of the townsfolk as they saw her being carried in. That time, she didn't yell, wisely decided to vent her anger later and avoid drawing more attention now.

Not that there weren't already too many people. She would have kicked and screamed if she could.

"Which way did Mai say the embassy was?" Katara said.

"That way!" Aang said. "No wait, was it right at the peacock-lion statue?"

Azula did scream then. They were carrying her naked through the street, and then stopped for directions?!

"Shush," Katara said. "Okay, we split up. you go right, Sokka and I go left, we see who finds the place first."

"Really?" Sokka groaned. "You made me carry her all the way down here, and now we're just going to wander around?"

"You looked like you were enjoying carrying her to me," Katara said.

"That's not the point!" Sokka said.

Azula gave an incoherent protestation too. Katara ignored her, and sighed.

"Fine," Katara said. "Leave Azula here."

Azula protested again.

"I go right, you go left, Aang, you make sure no one rescues her. Plan?" Katara finished.

"Plan," Sokka agreed.

"Plan!" Aang said.

"Argh!" Azula said.

Azula was dropped unceremoniously onto the dusty ground, face-down. She heard footsteps as the Water Tribers walked off, and then felt Aang politely roll her over. He frowned at her for a second, then carefully bent her until she was more sitting upright, and positioned her so that her back was against the wall, giving her a more natural pose. He pulled back, apparently content he'd done her a favor.

Instead, she could now see the street full of people walking by and staring at her. She tried vainly to move her arms, but couldn't cover.

"Hi," Aang said, "I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Aang."

"Aghk aou," Azula grunted.

"I know we don't get on," Aang said. He sat beside her, but leaned in front of her face, talking conversationally. "I don't suppose you'd be interested in being my firebending teacher?"

"Agh!"

"It's just, apparently I really need to find one," Aang said. "And you're the first firebender I've been able to sit down and talk with for a while."

"Aghhhhh!"

"Well. Think about it."

Azula thought happy, avatar-murdering thoughts as she waited for the Water Tribe siblings to return. When they did, she liked to think she'd at least managed enough movement to form her patented **** glare at the people that enjoyed the sight of the Fire Princess's breasts.

"Right!" Katara said. "Follow me."

Sokka picked Azula up again, adjusting her posture, and with a squeeze they were off down the street. They made it to a disused building with a Fire Nation symbol on the door, and Aang surreptitiously air-bent a gust through the lock to open it. Inside, Azula was carried down the corridor, feet and head bumping on the narrower walls and desks, grunting in complaint each time.

They made it to a meeting room, a large map on a table in the middle, where Sokka dumped Azula again, panting in exhaustion. She yelled something indistinct again, rolling onto her face. If she really tried, she could just about twitch her fingers. It wasn't enough to bend.

"Alright. Someone else carry her to the cell. I'm beat," he said, and walked out of the room. Aang sighed.

"I'll look for it," Aang said. "Katara, keep an eye on her."

Azula groaned again. She heard him walk off; she closed her eyes, vividly imagining her ****. There was a lot of lightning. Still, while she was in there, at least she wasn't outside, and at least she didn't have that infuriating boy touching her-

She felt a hand on her butt again.

"Huh. I don't see what all the fuss is about," Katara muttered.

Azula yelled again.
