The condo

You open the door and are stunned by how nice the place is. It's more like a condo than a room. You decide to take a quick tour of the place.

The living and dining room are part of an open-plan design that includes the kitchen. The centerpiece of the room is the panoramic view of the forested ravine, framed in floor-to-ceiling glass. Comfortable modern furniture and area rugs sit atop hardwood floors to create a stylish and cozy atmosphere. A marble-edged fireplace adds elegance and warmth, while a large LCD and surround-sound system remind you of the latest modern conveniences. To top it off, recessed lighting controlled with dimmers help to achieve the perfect ambiance. It's quite exquisite.

The kitchen has granite countertops and marble flooring with stainless steel appliances and glass-and-wood cabinets. There's a breakfast bar overlooking the dining room. The refrigerator and cabinets are fully stocked with fresh food and tasty treats.

The Master Suite combines stunning panoramic views with a luxury bathroom and walk-in closet. You can already imagine yourself enjoying your morning coffee from the queen-size bed and watching the sunrise illuminate the forest and distant mountains. A sliding glass door leads to the curving, glass panel balcony. The walk-in closet has two walls of hanging clothes of various designs, a dresser, and rows of women's shoes. You look into the bath and see that two of the walls are frosted glass, bathing the bathroom in natural light from the windowed wall. There's a large garden bathtub and marble and glass shower stall. This is going to be nice.

"Well, Jane, like I said, if you have any issues give me or the doctor a ring. Our numbers should be listed next to the phone in the living room. You should find all the comforts of home here, but there's a map of the facility showing how to get to the bar, the pool, the nature trails... that sort of stuff if you want to get out. Have fun!"

You're somewhat surprised that Sam is leaving you all alone, "Wait, aren't you going to stay with me?"

"If you like, sure, but I thought you might want some time to get comfortable first. Besides I was planning on coming back later this evening."
