The clean up

The Phoenix, with a wave of her hand, made everything look like it had before. All of a sudden his trashed home looked better than ever, and he was actually a bit suspicious that his TV was actually a bit bigger than it was before. Though what was most important was that the ash of the supervillain that John had killed had just simply disappeared like it had never been there.

Then the Phoenix French kissed John, forcing her tongue as far down his throat as it could go as she explored every inch of his mouth. John momentarily stunned tried to reciprocate but just couldn't match her eagerness eventually though they both had to breathe and the Phoenix took her tongue out of his mouth, leaving a string of saliva connecting both their mouths.

"I look forward to you coming to your new school, master." The Phoenix said with a seductive pur as she disappeared in a flash of fire. John just stood there a moment wondering what he had gotten himself into. Eventually though he got moving, figuring he needed to get ready to move over to the special university the Phoenix had told him about.

So John began packing up his things, figuring he would have to move to somewhere on campus once he took the job as the janitor that the Phoenix was setting up for him. As he thought about it, it did seem dangerous to go to a place that would have a superhero team that would have it out for him if they knew the truth about what had happened to the true Jean Grey.

Though it also made sense with the Phoenix pretending to be Jean Grey, they shouldn't be aware of what had happened exactly, and any mistakes on her part could just be chalked up to being **** to kill the villain, causing her to misremember the trauma. Though being reduced to nothing more than the Phoenix's cover story wasn't really a fitting end for a villain. Especially the one he accidentally killed, who he recalled was called Mister Sinister, seemed a bit on the nose for a villain name, but the guy had pulled it off when he was alive.

Though as John spent a good two hours packing up his stuff preparing to move, he once again thought if this was a good idea or not. Maybe he should just come clean to the X-Men and see if they could undo what happened to Jean, but then he remembered an article he had read years ago when Wolverine had lost his sh*t and had gone ballistic on someone. It hadn't been pretty poor; Bastard had been hung by his own organs after Wolverine had slowly cut them out of him with his claws.

With that old article and a few pictures as evidence in it, he began to imagine what they might do to him first before they even tried to fix Jean. The image of a very sadistic wolverine standing over him as he carved him up piece by piece as poor old John begged for ****'s sweet release suddenly made him think that he should keep what happened to himself.

With his decision reaffirmed, he continued packing up his room, but before he finished packing, he decided he should go to his college administration office to turn in his notice that he was quitting, as you were supposed to give that in advance if he was remembering the college's protocol, right? Though he didn't have a way to contact the Phoenix to find out where he was going to work after he quit, which was kind of important.

How exactly was he supposed to know where Xavier's school was or when he was supposed to show up for his new job as the new janitor that the Phoenix was going to have ready for him when he got there? Just as he was freaking out a bit at his lack of knowledge of where his future was going, the phone began to ring.

He looked at the caller ID to see it was the Phoenix. "How did I get your number?" John asked, a bit confused but happy he could contact the Phoenix to find out where he was supposed to go after he turned his notice and left the campus.

"I put it in when we were talking last. Anyway, John, I do have that job lined up for you, and I'm filling out your paper work for your new accommodations now. It will be ready when you get here." The Phoenix said in a gentle voice.

"Thanks; I'll be there soon. I'm packing my stuff now and will be handing in my notice to the main office. So where is this special school of yours?" John asked a bit curiously; she wasn't as flirty as before but then remembered she was at Jean's old school and probably had to keep up appearances.

"Don't worry, I'll text you the location, and you can use GPS from there." The Phoenix answered once again in her gentle but professional voice. Though her voice was gentle, her eyes were anything but as she looked at all the people passing her by, keeping her from giving her master the proper respect he deserved.

"Alright, I'll be there as soon as I can. Thanks again for this wonderful opportunity." John said he felt like he needed to stress the opportunity part for anyone who might have been listing to the call.

"No, thank you for your earlier help; if you hadn't distracted Mister Sinister, I might not be here right now." The Phoenix said in a sweet voice that a slight break near the end had a dramatic effect, giving John the cover story for what really happened.

"While I have to go, turn in that notice. So I better get going; it's getting late, and the office will be closing soon, and I have to turn in the notice that I'm quitting just to be on the safe side; I don't want any penalties." John said he was ending the call as both said their goodbyes, and he hurried to the office to turn in his notice of quitting.
