Ms. Slattern moves behind the desk and sits down before pulling out a large, black leather bound book. "The exact topic of today's lesson within the subject of revolution is the difference between subjugation and submission." She says as her piercing blue eyes sweep through the class, surveying her 8 students.

Her gaze fixed in on Olivia or as she prefers to be called Liv, this causes the young woman to shift uncomfortable in her seat, her face flushing with embarrassment as all attention in now on her.

"Can you please give us the definition of subjugation, Liv." Ms. Slattern asks in an oddly husky but still friendly voice.

"Um, isn't it the act of bringing someone under control of a person or organisation." Liv answers in a quiet, nervous voice that shows her shy nature. Normally she isn't this reserved and timid but because she's got the full attention of the class on her.

Ms. Slattern's face breaks into a wide smile that shows that she is proud of Liv's answer. "Excellent answer Liv, that is indeed the definition of subjugation. Submission is when someone is willing gives control of themselves over to a person or organisation." Ms. Slattern says before going on to explain the meaning of submission.

She suddenly slams her hands down on her desk making several of the students jump. "The act of subjugation that we are talking about in this context is to make someone subservient not the act of repressing that persons personality." She explains as she moves around the desk once again, her heels clicking with each step. She moves closer to Liv, who is sitting at the front row near the window.

"A quick survey question, have any of you been subjugated or even willingly submitted to someone or an organisation?" She asks the class.
