The cavalry battle!

After everyone crossed the finish line, Izuku let Mineta up, and the little gremlin, sobbing, took the opportunity to get some distance from him, spitting out dirt. "...was that a little much?" Izuku asked everyone.

"Nope!" all the girls said at once, especially Momo. Denki looked about to say something, but a glare from Kyoka made him clam up fast.

Midnight then began explaining the second round, the first 42 students to cross the finish line moved on, and would be given points based on placement as they performed a cavalry battle. Made sense, and Midnight continued to explain how many points everyone had, and that each team would require at least two people, with a max of four, and the rider would have a headband with the team's entire point total on it, required to be worn visibly on the neck or anywhere above it. The goal was to snatch as many headbands for as many points as possible.

Izuku was just starting to calculate how many points he had. Given 42nd place had five, and each place had five points more than the place below it, then he should have 210... Only for Midnight to pull that particular rug out from under him.

"Oh, and I almost forgot to mention..." she started, a downright sadistic gleam in her eyes as she looked at Izuku from her platform. "First place is an exception to the points system... For you see, Izuku Midoriya's points are... Ten million..."

Izuku stiffened and went pale as everyone turned absolutely predatory gazed at him. Well, fuck! Was this what it was like to be All Might in a sense? People constantly lying for his title?

"...huh, looks like all the girls will have another reason to be chasing you now," Setsuna grinned, patting his shoulder. "... unfortunately, all the guys will be too..."

"Not helping!" Izuku squeaked, outright panicking as teams started forming quickly. And no one seemed to want to be on his, given the massive target on his back!
