The car ride home

After we finished the meal and paid. Tom grabs us a taxi and we get in.

I bring up Rayon almost immediately.

“I didn’t want to embarrass you in the restaurant but how did you know Rayon and now this stranger has my number!”

“ I’m sorry baby. Rayon was a guy that used to bully me at school and I just caved when I saw him! You can delete the number now”

Still a little annoyed but don’t say anything, I just continue to look out the window until we arrive home.

When we got home we did the usual boring stuff. We waited until new year and then went to bed drunk.

I was out like a light. I haven’t drank that much by accident for a while.
