Even Gwen, your goth girlfriend/ friend, is congratulating him on his achievement. She smiles and hugs him. "Congratulations, Duncan. You were amazing."

"Thanks, Gwen. You're a really good friend. Maybe we should hang out sometime." He winked at her, causing her to blush and giggle.

You couldn't believe it. Gwen was actually flirting with Duncan, the asshole who made your life hell. You couldn't believe that she would choose him over you. You felt hurt and betrayed.

"Gwen, what are you doing." You said this while you were pulling her aside.

She said to call you down. "I'm not doing anything, Chad. We're just friends."

"Don't tell me you have a crush on him. After everything he's done to me."

"Don't be silly, Chad. I'm not into Duncan. I'm into you." She smiled and kissed your lips.

You couldn't deny the fact that she was a good kisser, and you knew she loved you. But something about her actions with Duncan didn't sit right with you. It was almost like she was into him, and you were just a pawn. His manipulation is forcing itself into your head.
