The bigger reveal

Zamora put a finger to her lips.

The lights dimmed. The crowd held their breath. A drumroll came from somewhere backstage.

Zamora raised her magic wand. Flicked it ceremoniously through the air. Once. Twice. Thrice. With each gesture of her immaculate hands, a different colour of sparkles flew through the air. Purple. Yellow. Green.

"Ladies and gentlemen," she announced, in a sonorous tone. "This is it. The moment you've all been waiting for. Allow me to present..."

The cabinet door swung open.

Susie Snook stepped out, looking a little disoriented, as if she didn't quite know what had just been done to her. Into the spotlight. It beamed down on her from above, drawing every single eye in the entire room.
