Chapter 8
What's next?
The bachelor's pad
Rachel was proud of her body. She went to the gym three times a week and was a regular participant in the city 10K runs. She was also proud of how it made her look in high waisted pants, because now she had an ass that didn't quit. In their dress to impress mission she had borrowed one of Melly's roommate's jeans (sorry, Alina) and paired it with a crop top, despite the weather. In contrast with her lovely legs, her chest was naturally small, and she'd had to come to terms with it.
Melly had never had those issues. She worked out once a week, if that, when Rachel dragged her. You could never tell, looking at her. Outfits that looked modest on other girls were pornographic on her. Today she wore a knee length green sweater dress, and Rachel had needed a moment to compose herself. Her curves looked so incredible in it that she had nearly pushed her friend onto the bed and created another regrettable memory. That would only delay the Leo issue, and they didn't have time for it today. Sadly.
The TA's office was above an old lecture hall that had been abandoned for technical reasons. Every once in a while there was a class there, but at most once a week. The TA held office hours from 9 to 10:30 Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Aside from that, it was open for Leo to do what he liked with it.
That usually meant Rachel.
She could've made the climb with her eyes closed. The semester was barely two months old and they'd probably met there ten or eleven times. He had an unfortunately addictive quality. Melly had joined them three times, and had been to Leo's dorm room a few more. Now the two girls waited outside the door. He hadn't even shown up.
“I'm going to kill him,” Melly said seriously.
“At least let me have a little fun first.”
Both girls whirled to see him standing in the door to the staircase. He was tall, with that horribly hot grin on his face. The need to dress appropriately must not have been mutual, because he was wearing jeans and a plain shirt.
“Get inside,” Melly hissed.
Leo laughed. “Wow, so eager!” Brandishing the key, he welcomed them both into the cramped office space. There was barely enough room for the desk and the couch, so during these little encounters they had to push the desk right up against the door. Major fire hazard. He didn't wait to chat before he started moving the desk.
“Calm down, big shot, we're not here for that,” said Melly. She sat down on the edge of the couch and put one bare leg over the other. Rachel sat next to her.
Leo was smiling just as hard when he turned around. “What, is one of you pregnant?” he said.
“Don't even joke,” said Rachel.
“I don't understand,” said Leo, pretending to be confused. “If you don't like my jokes, why do you keep me around?”
“Shut up,” said Melly. Her hands were folded on her knee, but that didn't stop the top one from shaking. Rachel had never seen her so off kilter. When everyone else in their class had been buzzing about the first day in a new place, she had seemed totally at ease. She always talked about going into politics. That kind of confidence would serve her well. Assuming no videos of her sharing a dick with her cute best friend surfaced to stifle those dreams.
