The amulet's charged, and Artemis has some fun

Roxie rolled her eyes and tried to think. "Look, maybe we can tell her that Buddy and Hailey aren't the ones in charge. That way, we can wait for them down here and ambush them!"

"Yeah, that might...what the hell?"

Grant looked at his feet to see his ankles wrapped together in rope. Roxie's legs were in the same rope, tying the two together. Suddenly, the rope tightened, sending the two to the floor with Grant on top of Roxie. The two turned their heads to see a woman holding an arrow in a bow. She pointed it at the ceiling and fired, sending the rope into the air along with the arrow.

"You two hold tight," Artemis said. She began pulling on the rope, dragging the two into the air. Roxie and Grant were trapped face-to-face with their ankles tied to the rope-arrow.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" Grant shouted.

The Receptionist shot up from her chain. "Hey, lady! If you don't get out now, I'll call the police!"

After tying her end of the rope to the doorknob, Artemis tossed her a small badge. On it was an image of Artemis standing in a group with Mammo, Ozzie, Lucy, and the other demon lords. "I always keep that for when I'm hunting in this town," she said. "Why don't you take a break?"

The Receptionist had no idea who this woman was but didn't want to risk offending her boss' friend. She ran up the stairs and hid in an empty room. Artemis turned her attention back to the captured hunters, pulling a long knife out of a pocket. "Now then, to skin my prey."

"Do you have any idea who we are?!" Roxie shouted. "We've killed stronger bitches than you! We have friends everywhere! You touch us and you're dead!"

"Oh, settle down," Artemis said. "I'm not a poacher. No one's dying. But you did rob a close friend of mine, so now I'm going to make you two pay."

Artemis slashed her knife down, cutting Grant's suit into two even halves and leaving him naked. She then crossed over to Roxie and cut her dress, leaving her just as bare-assed as Grant. The two hunters screamed in embarrassment and tried to grab what remained of their clothes, but Artemis swiftly picked them up. The goddess pulled out a camera and started taking pictures. "And these are going straight to my mantle."

"What are you doing?!" Roxie screamed. "Give us back our clothes!"

"They're not your clothes," Artemis said. "They're my trophies, now."

"Okay, okay, you won!" Grant pleaded. "Now put us down! Or at least keep me away from her!"

"Why would I do that? I can tell when animals are about to rut, and you two are practically bleeding pheromones, even in this place," Artemis mocked. "Well, I've got to see my friends. Bye-bye!"

The goddess strutted out the door with the torn suit and dress, leaving Grant and Roxie behind. Grant suddenly became aware that his erection was growing against Roxie and tried to lean away. "Roxie, whatever you do, don't move."

Roxie slapped him on the shoulder. "Look, I have taken enough shit tonight! Can you stop telling me what to do for - EEP!"

Roxie froze as she felt Grant's penis enter her womanhood.

Kyle frantically pulled at the locked door as Hailey and Buddy shouted in a near-drunken state of lust. "Oh, Hailey, baby! Ah'm losin' mah mind!"

"Buck me, Buddy! Make me a cowgirl! WHOO!"

Something pulled Grant into the bathroom, closing the door behind them. The sound finally died, leaving Kyle alone with Lucy. "Soundproof door," she explained.

"Oh, thank God!" Kyle said. "I could kiss you!"

"Not after saying that, you're not." Lucy's smile betrayed her joke.

Kyle sat down on the toilet cover as Lucy sat by the bathtub, setting her handbag on her lap. She looked up at Kyle, who was scanning the magazines by the toilet. "I'm sorry I got you mixed up in this," she said. "Demon hunters have never caught me off guard before."

She was surprised to see Kyle laugh. "You know, apart from the streaking and the hunters after us, this has been a pretty fun night. I met gods and demons, I found out heaven and myths exist...what the hell is gonna happen on our second date?"

Lucy perked up at the idea. "Second date? You still want to go out with me?"

"Hey, just because you're The Devil doesn't mean you're a bad person," Kyle said with a shrug. "You definitely know how to have a fun time."

Lucy suddenly grabbed him in a tight hug. "I can't remember the last time a mortal told me that! Thank you!"

Kyle wrapped his arms around her, trying to focus on her feelings and less that a gorgeous, naked fallen angel was hugging him. Lucy pulled away and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. She burst out laughing but didn't let him go. "Sorry. Should probably keep that for the ritual, right?"

Before Kyle could respond, the door opened to reveal a satisfied Ozzie. "Oh. I'm not interrupting, am I?"

Both Lucy and Kyle responded. "NO!"

They quickly got up and followed her out to the room. Hailey was leaning on the couch with a cigarette in hand while Buddy panted on the floor. "Best...hunt...ever!" Hailey wheezed.

Ozzie grabbed a few bathrobes from a closet and threw them to the hunters. "These'll keep you two warm."

"Ah don't think ya'll got one in mah size," Buddy said. Almost immediately, his whole body was covered by a massive robe that Ozzie threw at him. "Ah was wrong!"

"You have clothes here?" Lucy asked. "Let us have some!"

Ozzie winced. "Ooh, I'm sorry! I've been busy tonight, and those were my last ones."

"Of course you were," Kyle said, rolling his eyes.

Ozzie handed Lucy her amulet. "Well, I got what you wanted right here, babe! Use it in good health."

Lucy happily took the amulet and put it into her handbag. Ozzie led the two couples out of the room towards the lobby, but stopped as she began to descend the stairs. "Ah, bloody hell!"

Lucy and Kyle peeked down to see Roxie and Grant hanging upside-down and naked in the middle of the lobby. The two started laughing as they walked down the stairs. Buddy and Hailey shared their laughter while they followed them.

"Who the hell is laughing?!" Grant screamed. "Hailey? Is that you!"

"Buddy, make your fat ass useful and get me down!" Roxie yelled.

Lucy smiled towards the hunters. "Don't you just love Karma?"

Kyle gave them the finger as he followed Lucy outside. Buddy waved goodbye to Roxie. "Ah'm quittin' this gig, sister!"

Hailey turned around and gave her ass a smack to mock Grant. "Kiss it, asshole!"

The four left through the front while Roxie struggled in trying to grab one of them. "Get back here, you fucking traitors!"

"Ah! I said don't move!' Grant said.

Ozzie blew her friends a farewell kiss as the door closed. She gave the two hunters a stern glare. "Now, what am I gonna do with you buggers?"
