The Zoo

Lucy looked at Kyle is surprise. "The Zoo? Seriously?"

"I mean, you said there's fewer people at this hour, right?" Kyle said, trying to save face.

"No, no, it's alright!" Lucy said. "I just wasn't expecting you to choose that one."

"Hey, you ask me, nuthin' more romantic than doin' it in a barnyard!" Buddy said.

"Ooh! That does sound like fun!" Hailey agreed.

Lucy smiled and marked the zoo with an "X" on the map. "And lucky for me, I know someone who can get us in!"

Grant gargled the water as he stood under the shower in the men's locker room. He scrubbed his chest with enough **** to turn his skin red. "Is it coming off?"

"What do you think?!" Hailey shouted from the next shower. "That was the second time you came in me tonight!"

"I meant the skunk smell!"

"...oh." Roxie took a minute to smell herself. "I...I don't think it's any worse. Maybe they were really an illusion."

Grant shut off the water and stepped out. "Look, we're not getting the smell off. Let's just keep looking for that damn Devil!"

Roxie hastily shut off the water as she began to rant. "How?! We have no idea if she's still here, and she's hiding in building full of targets! If we go out there again -!"

Roxie suddenly slipped on the floor and fell into Grant's arms. The two slid backward on the floor, crashing into the wall. The two looked at each other, slowly realized they were still holding each other's naked body.

"Seriously, how do we keep getting into this position?" Roxie asked.

A loud sound was heard outside the locker room. Grant hushed Roxie as he tried to hear what they were saying.

"Sounds like two women and a man," Grant said. "Can't risk taking a peek yet."

The voice drew closer, but not enough to tell who was who. "You're sure you felt it? Already?"

"Look, I'm telling you, we can sense when a ritual like this is being prepared! Lucy's and that sexy guy she's with are at the zoo!"

"The zoo? Who picks the zoo for a sex date?"

"It's a demonic energy thing; I never paid attention to that shit in class."

"Are we really streaking there? I can drive us in my car!"

"That's no fun! And besides, I can open a portal for speed. I just gotta grab something from my office upstairs!"

The sounds of bare feet slapping the floor faded as the voices drifted away. Grant and Roxie looked at each other with a feeling of victory. "You ready to finally end this hunt?"

"Let's hit the zoo!"

At the zoo's side entrance, a beautiful blind woman tapped her cane on the ground as she walked around the grounds. She happily smelled the crisp night air and took in the sounds of the nocturnal animals. She reached into her pocket and stuck a small snack under her wig. "Eat up, sweeties."

Something grabbed the snack and ate it as the woman continued her walk. She tapped her cane once and stopped. The unmistakable sounds of bare feet were behind her. She whipped around and tried to stand firm. "Who's out there?! What are you doing in my zoo?! We're closed for the night!"

Lucy stood in front of her friends. "Medusa, you can lay off the act. My friends and date here already know everything."

"Oh." The woman straightened herself up, not needing to keep up her act. "In that case, why are two of you naked?!"

"Medusa?!" Kyle repeated. His hands flung to his eyes, exposing himself in front of Medusa.

"Calm down," Lucy said, lowering his hands. "She has perfect control over her eyes. You won't turn to stone."

"Oh, good," Hailey said. "Cause I looked at her face, like, five times."

Medusa removed her sunglasses, revealing her shining yellow eyes, and threw off her wig to free her head of snakes. They happily brushed against her face while flickering their tongues. "Listen, Lucy, I'm more than happy to let you in for the night - I owe you for smoothing over things with Athena - but why are you bringing three humans here?"

"Two of them are...sort of our bodyguards," Lucy explained. "And Kyle here is my date. I got sprayed with Holy Water, so we need to do the Ritual."

"The Ritual?" Medusa asked. "There's at least twenty ceremonies from my time alone with that name. You're gonna have to be more specific."

Lucy's eyes darted around as she tried to explain. "You know...the power regaining ritual? Where we share our souls...and feelings...and bodies?"

Medusa's eyes widened. "Oh! It's a sex ritual! You demons sure have a lot of those!"

Lucy gritted her teeth. "Trust me, I know."

Medusa took a walkie-talkie from her belt. "Darling, we need some help setting up a special event. Meet me by the west entrance, would you?"

The voice on the walkie came through as someone approached. "Already here, babe."

The group saw a massive man with the head of a bull marching towards Medusa. The man was as tall as Hailey with muscles to match, but was also completely naked, letting his flaccid seven-inch penis swing in the breeze.

"Aw! You two are still together!" Lucy noticed.

"Yeah, I can see why!" Hailey said, her eyes laser-focused on the Minotaur's junk.

Medusa groaned and tried to keep eye contact with her boyfriend. "Minotaur, we've discussed this. We are in public in a city! That means you have to wear pants!"

Minotaur cocked his bull-head. "Why? Aren't we closed anyway?"

Medusa let out another groan into her hands. She peeked through her fingers to stare at Lucy. "Please, just...where do you want to have this ritual?"

Lucy tapped her chin. "Hmm. Where's a good place around here that has a lot of demonic energy?"

"Well, the aquarium is definitely a good place," Medusa said. "But so is the reptile house, the insect home, the big cathouse, the..."

"Ya'll got a cathouse here?!" Buddy howled in excitement.

"Not what she meant!" Kyle said.

Medusa threw up her hands, tired of dealing with her boyfriend and Buddy's shenanigans. "You tell me, Lucy. What works better?"
