What's next?

The Wrath of Electro!

Storming through the mechanical doors leading onto the bridge of the Helicarrier, Nicholas Fury ruffled his coat down and stood at the podium at the Bridge’s center, looking around to the SHIELD staff scrambling to get answers and information from the city nearby.

“Give me answers people!” Barked the SHIELD director, his hands at his sides while Maria Hill went to her station. “The hell is going on down there?”

“Sir. 1PP is a nightmare right now. We’re getting reports of monsters, inmates from the prison and mental patients from Ravencroft spilling out in the streets.”

“The city’s police **** is stretched thin, and our agents are coming back with casualties. It’s a madhouse over there.”

“SIR! I’m getting reports from the city. A MASSIVE electrical disturbance focussing on…”

Fury didn’t need to know, the moment he looked out over to the city from the Helicarrier’s window, a column of lightning erupted from the heart of New York.

“What the hell is going on out there?” Looking over to agent Hill, Fury pointed over to her and back out onto the city. “Hill, gather as many agents as possible who are still able and see if you can contain this garbage fire!”

“Right away sir!”

Watching the woman scramble out of the control deck to assemble a team out of who was left of his agents, Fury looked out onto the city, realising he may have sorely underestimated these intruders to their reality.

“Just what the hell is going on?”

All around them the streetlights and power flickered. The air taking on a strange ozone tang while they all looked up at the woman floating overhead glaring down at them all. Slowly she descended to the ground, hovering just a foot off the pavement where her feet sparked static electricity to lick between the soles of her feet and the concrete below. Getting to the ready with their prisoner contained in one of Susan’s forcefields behind them, the Fantastic Four kept a watchful eye on the firebrand of the Sinister Susans staring bloody **** back down at them.

Her gaze then fell on Mysterio, **** and contained in a bubble of invisible light, and her fists clenched hard.

“I take it you aren’t too pleased about us knocking out your friend here.” Asked Reed aloud, still unsure of this version of his wife as the static electricity in the air began to build.

“I honestly couldn’t bring myself to give two shits about that birthday magician…” Electro said coldly, tilting her head to look over her shoulder when she heard a bird’s cry in the distance. Seeing her two compatriots Kraven and Condor arrive to join her. “But we had a plan going, and this is a delay we can’t afford.”

Landing behind their compatriot, the other two Susans stood behind Electro, with Condor perching herself over a street light overhead, her winged draping her sides and dangling like metal curtains at either side of her.

“This entire venture hasn’t been profitable at all.” Hissed the elderly woman overhead, eyeing Susan with what could best be jealousy. “We came here to loot technologies.”

“We came for trophies.” Stated the statuesque woman, brandishing a skinning knife in her gloved hand as she eyed Ben like a lioness staring at a gazelle.

“We came here to FUCK! SHIT! UP! I wanted to spend the day frying people like hardboiled eggs, and now I must waste time trying to get back home. We’ve got stuff to do, and if you are in the way of that then congratulations fuckers! YOU GET TO BE FIRST IN LINE!!!”

A bolt of lightning flew from the woman’s outstretched fingers with an angry scream, launching towards the Fantastic Four with so much **** the cars around them squealed to life, their lights exploding from the overcharge as the bolt came faster than the four could blink, only to be blocked by a wall of invisible light and hitting everything else nearby. A **** field stopped the attack, blocked by the Invisible Woman who had it up the second Electro had shown herself. Seeing her attack deterred, Electro’s face was a mask of blind rage as she charged for a bigger attack.

“Do you have her Suzie?”

“Yes Reed.” Smiled Susan, keeping her hands out to maintain the **** field keeping them safe. “This psycho isn’t taking me by surprise again!”

“AAAAAAAAAARGH!” Screamed Electro, her powers so chaotic, arcs of electricity shot out at random, even nearly striking Condor and forcing the winged crone to take to the air again. “I’ll kill each and every ONE OF YOU!!!”

Wincing and sharing a look with his sister, Johnny shrugged. “Suzie, you are a very calm and patient woman.”

“Thanks Johnny.” Susan replied sardonically, looking up at the electric woman trying to blast her husband and family. “Do we have a plan for her?”

“I sure got plans for HER!” Grumbled the Thing, pointing a stony finger back at Kraven who was picking her fingernails with her knife. “We got a score to settle.”

“Damn right we do!” Frowned Johnny, bringing his fist to his palm. “Time for a little sibling rivalry.”

“We’ll have to deal with the electrical one as soon as possible, She’s the loudest by far, but I fear what the other two can do.” Warned Reed, stretching his body out so he’d be ready for anything. “We’ll go for a feint attack and take them out one at a time. Everybody ready?”

“Ready!” The Fantastic Four declared… Just as Susan turned everyone invisible.

Halting in her electrical blast for but a moment when she couldn’t see who she was hitting, Electro looked around, trying to find something to hit. “Where did they go? Where the fuck did they all go?!”

“You’re far too hotheaded for your own good Suzie.” Hissed Condor, keeping a safe distance when Electro snapped her attention to her elderly doppelganger.

“SHUT THE FUCK UP OLD HAG!”

“You’ll get there one day…” Condor smirked. “That is if you don’t get a heart attack before you’re for…”

The winged villainess made a face like she had flown into a glass wall, being knocked back by an unseen **** that sent her crashing into the roof of a nearby car. Snapping to alert, the remaining two villainesses looked around for an attacker, with Kraven sniffing the air and Electro charging arcs of electricity in her hands.

“Where did that come from?”

“Sniff… I can still smell them; they are still here.” Kraven spoke up, her feline eyes darting over to anything that moved. “Show yourself my stony trophy, I’ll have your boulder of a skull hanging on my wall.”

Crawling out of the roof of the vehicle, Condor sneered and took to the air, her eyes snapping to different locations, trying to find out where that hit came from. To everyone’s surprise, Electro cried out as she was engulphed in a bubble, her electrical powers licking the surface of the hard light construct, but it was to no avail. Condor spread her wings and breathed in to create a shriek attack when she felt something snake around her leg and pull her back down, slamming her into the concrete below. Still crying out her sonic attack, it was met by a fireball that left her gasping and **** out a hoarse cough. The Condor suddenly disappearing when a strange bubble of invisible light enveloped her.

“COWARDS! FACE ME!”

Kraven was ready, with a knife in either hand, her senses were sharp, ready to strike at the first sign of an attack. She could feel it, something BIG charging towards her like a stampeding elephant, narrowing her eyes she was ready for the strike to come when the invisible presence charging for her finally took shape, the Invisible Woman’s lifting the camouflage away to show Ben Grimm getting ready to swing a haymaker.

With a battle cry, Kraven made to countercharge and face the Thing, only to find her legs bound to the ground where she stood. Looking down, she found… Blue sleeved arms, outstretched and snaked around her legs like rope keeping her in place. Realising she was stuck, she looked up at that split second to see the smirking Thing chuckle when he threw the punch.

“Ya shouldn’t have hurt Reed there, toots. It’s CLOBBERIN TIME!”

The strike hit Kraven square between the eyes, stunning the amazon woman as she snapped back and practically roared like a lioness. Seeing another punch rearing back, Kraven roared again, her mouth revealing feline fangs as she raised her knives to slash, which was until her knives were pulled out of her hands, hovering in the air over her head by invisible hands that wriggled them at her mockingly.

“What?” An uppercut to the chin made the Russian woman growl, followed by a right hood that sent her reeling back thirty feet away and knocking over a mailbox with enough **** to crumple it like an empty soda can. Getting to her feet and breathing hard with a snarl, any allusion that the woman WASN’T a ferocious tiger had gone to the wayside. Her hackles raised, her eyes were yellow and slit, her mouth a filled with fangs as her fingernails grew curved and razor-sharp. “You DARE to use tricks on me? You are a cowards stone-man, I was wrong to think you were an honourable kill. You deserve to be stepped on like a mouse!”

Charging forward and jumping off the hood of a car to raise his fists in a double deuce, Kraven stood to meet him in his strike, taking a swipe of her clawed hand to slash at his unprotected face, but instead of carving grooves into his granite flesh, Ben was hoisted up too high for the huntress to hit, almost making her lose her footing when she spun around and looked up back at him.

“Sticks and stones may break my bones.” Chuckled Ben as he floated overhead, upside-down with his arms crossed. “But I’m a big enough man to let Suzie finish ya for what you did to Reed. She’s all yours girl.”

Too furious to get what he was saying as he floated in the air with his arms crossed. Kraven winced when she felt something invisible punch her in the face, then another, and another. Waving her arms around her, slashing with her clawed fingers, the lion woman roared and gagged when she felt an invisible ball was shoved into her open mouth, and a punch to the gut made her eyes water. Taking another slash at what her attacker could be, Kraven was finally allowed to breath and felt pinned by a pair of invisible walls pressing at her from the front and back of her. Pinning her in place. Struggling as best she could, Kraven was finally let free, but was left unable to see her attacker.

Blind with rage, the powerful woman grabbed hold of a nearby car, her grip so tight the metal bent like tinfoil as she hoisted the sedan over her head and threw it at where she thought her invisible attacker was. In pure astonishment, the car stopped in mid air, and came right back down on her. Jumping out of the way just in time to avoid it crashing into her, Kraven found herself hitting another invisible wall, one that wrapped around her to form a bubble and pull her up into the air.

At last, the veil of invisibility was lifted, and Kraven found a very smug Susan Storm standing in the middle of the street, brushing her hands clean before resting them at her sides. Kraven was then joined with Mysterio, Electro and Condor, each of them contained in a forcefield bubble overhead while Ben, Johnny and Reed rejoined Susan where her leaned over to give her a kiss on the cheek.

“Well done Susan, most impressive.”

“Why THANK you Reed, its good to have a supportive husband.” Smiled the blonde, eyeing the four prisoners they all had in front of them, with Mysterio and Condor **** and Electro screaming bloody fury while she smashed her fists against her prison. “Something tells me these ladies didn’t have a version of you to mellow me out.”

“I’m going to KILL each and everyone of you!” Screamed Electro, pounding her fists against her prison.

“ESPECIALLY that one!” Snarked Johnny, his arms crossed as he watched the variant of his sister scream and threaten. “Hey sister from another mister, I’ve got some advice for that temper of yours; go lick a battery.”

Her eye twitching, Electro screamed, giving off a powerful surge of electrical current that caused everyone to shield their eyes. An explosion rocked them all back as Electro broke free of her forcefield, hovering above the ground with currents of electricity zapping from her feet and hands, striking everything nearby. Her eyes were wide open with rage, her face a permanent sneer as she screamed out.

“THAT’S IT! EVERYBODY DIES!!!!”

Raising her hands over her head, Electro cried out as she began pulling electricity towards her from everywhere. Everyone who was watching ducked or dropped to the ground for safety when currents of electricity sparked and flew up towards the floating woman, building up a sphere of electrical energy that built up and grew by the second. Currents of air began to build, causing windstorms that **** people to squint and guard their eyes. Reed, with an outstretched hand the size of a blanket protecting his friends while his normal one guarded his eyes, the man looked out to see skyscrapers go dark behind Electro, while the build up of electricity continued to form over her head.

“She’s pulling electricity from the entire city!” Reed cried out over the turbulence around him. “Likely the entire state of New York!”

“What’s she trying to do?” called out ben, standing to his feet and getting pelted by stones and other debris picked up by the growing windstorms.

“She’s turning herself into a bomb! if she releases all that energy at once, it will be like popping a balloon the size of Rhode Island over the city… if the air burst doesn’t kill everyone, the vacuum effect afterwards certainly will!”

“Not if I can help it, FLAME ON!” Igniting himself and flying high into the air, the Human Torch flew towards Electro like a blazing comet, getting a fist ready to strike at the ball of electricity building over the woman’s outstretched hands overhead. The moment he made contact, the city was hit with blinding light.

Meanwhile at the Stark R&D facility…

“Okay then, that concludes my little shopping endeavour.” Smiled Doctor Octopus as she walked with her metallic tentacles through the facility with a cart of equipment and materials trailing behind her. Checking off the list in her hand, she dragged her booty out of the facility to see the city outside going through a riot. With the mental hospital, police station and prisons in total chaos, that chaos had spread onto the rest of the city, and it showed. The police who had not been at Police Headquarters had their hands full trying to maintain the peace and arrest as many escaped convicts and mental patients as possible. Many were overwhelmed as it was.

“FREEZE!”

Looking over her shoulder to the lone officer pointing a revolver back at her, the blonde-haired woman tilted her shoulder with a coy grin. Dropping her goods, she slowly descended to her feet and raise her hands over her head, playing along for the man as he stepped closer.

“Am I under arrest officer?”

“Yes, you are!” Barked the officer, trembling slightly as he kept an eye on the woman’s tentacles, now that they weren’t occupied. “You are under arrest for looting, breaking and entering and…”

A ringing noise filled everyone’s ears as the entire mob looked out onto the center of New York where a blinding light went off, followed by a sonic boom. Nearby electrical equipment either went dead or blew out from the intense surge that blasted out from Time’s Square. Causing everyone to fall to their knees from the shock wave. Even the officer who had Dr. Octopus at gunpoint found himself clutching at his head, his inner ear reacted to the clap of the sonic boom. The split-second he regained his composure, e metallic claw grabbed his hand holding the pistol and crushed it while another grabbed at his mouth, keeping him from screaming.

“Hmm, someone is behind schedule. But this will do.”

Pulling the man up close to see him panicking under her grip, her smile grew haughty.

“Don’t worry little man, I’m not going to kill you, I’m not like my other compatriots who find delight in peeling people open like human bananas.”

His eyes going wide from fear and pain, the officer struggled against the titanium grip of her claw around his face, muffling out a cry to speak or breathe.

“They DO have their uses though. And so far, they are being ESPECIALLY useful.” Letting him go to drop to the ground, the officer winced and clutched at his broken hand. Standing higher thanks to her four tentacles, the woman retained her smug grin as one of her tentacles reached for her bounty and hoisted it off the ground easily. “If I’m right, your police station is a screaming madhouse by now. And your city is currently in a blackout. You couldn’t detain me, armed or otherwise.”

With that, she crawled up the walls of a nearby building and disappeared.
