The Wizard

A skeleton hands you a rolled parchment. It demands that you surrender yourself to the Pillean king for abducting his daughter. It is the third missive he's sent and each has been less courteous.

You sigh and step away from the table. With a wave your books close, the candles flicker out and the room is neatened.

"What would I want with a young virgin?" You ask yourself.

You head through the halls of your tower and pass your guards one by one on the way snapping them to attention and motioning for them to follow you. You climb higher in the tower to your sanctuary so you can divine where this young girl is.

You approach your crystal and speak the incants. You see the girl, naked and bound, being carried on the back of an enormous barbarian brute from the Northern tribes. You spit, it would be easy for you to rescue the girl, but you'd get no thanks. A wizard never gets any thanks. Still... it would be good to know what the foolish tribesmen wanted with the girl.
